Chapter 2

A luxury car left the club and headed to a place. What they were heading to was Blain Mansion, a residence surrounded by stone fences, there were four guard posts with armed men at each post. In the center there is a box-shaped labyrinth garden. Large pillars in golden color adorned the four-story building, the majestic doors were made of rare finest wood, only a few people had them in this world.

They brought Andy inside as ordered, Andy had given up and chose to remain silent without asking many questions. He was laid down on a soft and expensive bed, he closed his eyes and fell asleep from exhaustion.

Andy opened his eyes slowly, his eyes examining the state and where he was now. Until his gaze stopped at an old man with an aristocratic face who still kept his good looks in his youth.

“You've woken up. How do you feel, Andy?”

“I feel better, Grandpa.”

“Right to the point, have you had enough of playing around out there? I'm no longer young, you better think carefully and give me a satisfactory answer this afternoon.”

“Grandpa, I would rather not end up like my parents.”

“I forced you, Andy. Listen, my company's situation is not good. It's because of your uncle's increasingly stupid actions, I'm tired of being criticized by some business partners because of Lewis' suffocating new policies.”

“The death of your parents, that you heard about, is not the truth. I'll tell you when you're ready.”

Andy was silent and looked over the old man's shoulder leaving the room where he was. The man was named Sebastian Blain, the grandfather of Andy Blain. A rich Billionaire.

“It seems like it's time for me to come back, Grandpa has been waiting for me for five years. I have to know what caused the death of my parents.” Andy got off the bed and walked to the bathroom to clean his body.

Andy's room is huge, large windows with transparent glass with expensive looking curtains. There is a balcony in front of the room, with several small chairs and a round table. Inside the room, a large bed is in the middle, with two small tables on each side adorned with a bedside lamp.

In front of the bed is a long brown-painted wooden table, and on the wall hangs a large frame containing a family photo. The photo includes Sebastian, Andy's parents, and Andy being held by his father. The smiles in the photo display sincerity and happiness.

The wounds from last night are now wet again, blood starting to seep out. Not too much, but enough to frighten anyone who sees it. Andy walks out of the room and looks for his grandfather. The drops of blood wet the expensive imported Italian marble floor, and despite feeling very painful all over his body, Andy walks with determination. A servant sees Andy and is very surprised.

“Oh God, Mr. Blain. You should stay in the room; look, your blood is dripping again.”

“Where is my grandfather? Take me to him.”

“But, Sir—”

“Take me, damn it!”

The thirty-two-year-old servant fearfully escorts Andy to Sebastian's office. At the door, they meet Sebastian's guard, and the servant leaves Andy there.

“I want to see Grandfather.”

“Alright, Sir. Please come in.”

The door opens slowly, revealing a very luxurious room. A sturdy table made of expensive wood stands in the room. A black leather sofa with a high backrest is in the corner of the room, shelves filled with many books and some old photos of the Blain family hanging on the walls. Seeing his grandson arrive, Sebastian opens a drawer and takes out a small box wrapped in black velvet. Sebastian asks Andy to sit down.

“Here, open this and wear it.”

Andy takes the box and puts the ring on his index finger. The ring is plain, with a crown engraved on each side. At the front, there is the Blain family symbol of a roaring lion. Andy feels something strange throughout his body when he puts it on; he observes his wounds quickly healing, the blood stops flowing, and he feels his body getting stronger. The wounds heal in seconds! He feels his vision becoming very sharp and hears many faint conversations from various people.

“That ring is a must-have for every heir of our family. Only the chosen ones can wear it. It is the key to all facilities and power.”

“The ring can be considered a magical ring; it will help you solve all problems and give you extra power beyond reason. After you wear it, you will understand its function.”

“Thank you, Grandfather. What should I do now?”

“We're going to the office; I will announce that you are my heir and remove Lewis from his current position.”

They are driven in a $28 million Rolls-Royce luxury car Sebastian bought several years ago. They arrive at an elite office area, with a tall forty-five-story building that is exceptionally luxurious and expensive. At the top, the sign “B Tower” gleams in gold from a distance. A beautiful garden is arranged in a modern style with high aesthetic value. In front, there is an artificial fountain with fish swimming in the lower pool. At a glance, the place is very comfortable, resembling a hotel but is an office building.

“Grandfather, I need to use the restroom first.”

“Go ahead. I'll wait by the elevator.”

Andy hurries to the restroom, quickly relieves himself, washes his hands, and dries them before heading out.

As he approaches the elevator, he meets Josh Bolton and his father, Mike Bolton. Behind them stand four guards in black suits, their bodies muscular and looking very tough. Their eyes appear cold with a strong aura of menace.

“Well… Well… well… look at the vagabond, Dad.”

“You'd better be quiet and stop your filthy talk, damn it.” Andy remains calm, but his words pierce sharply.

An odd aura seems to strike Josh, silencing him, and now his head is bowed, with his knees moving on their own to kneel in front of Andy.

“Oh, Wow. This ring is wonderful; I feel like a king.”
