Chapter 11

Andy's back sprouted large, black wings that, when closed, could protect himself and fifteen adult humans.

Andy flapped his wings and soared, then dove sharply like an eagle hunting its prey; Andy's goal was to cleave Po Chi's body.

Po Chi moved slowly, while Andy glided very fast like an arrow released from its bow. The buzzing sound of the sword's direction paralyzed Po Chi, and Andy easily cleaved the body into two parts. Thin black smoke appeared and disappeared as if carried away by the wind.

Time had resumed! Now, the sounds of nature were heard as usual. Ernie's gruesome body slowly turned like burnt charcoal, then disappeared without a trace.

“What happened? Why are you standing alone there, Mr. Blain?” Dave asked with a puzzled look.

Andy raised his eyebrows, 'did Dave lose his memory? Did he forget that Ernie was there earlier?' Andy wondered silently.
