Dominick Navarro is closing in on the pack and me. A few of my warriors spotted him and his goons about 10 miles to the east. I know Baylee gave him a hint about where the pack was, but I think they are slowly sweeping the area until they find us. I have sent all of the women and children to the new land that Aphrodite has for us. I will join them there if nothing happens. I know that something is going to happen, and I already have the area for the fight to take place if it comes to that. Which I know it will. “Lillyana has put a spell in place for me, you, and her. It is attached to the memory of you splitting your soul, and us concocting this plan. If you die then it will wipe out our memories and Hectate will be the only one to remember any of this.” Hephaestus explains to me. “Good, I really hope not to die but at the same time, I know that it needs to be that way for Kylani’s sake,” I state. “Why did you even split your soul in the first place?” He asks. “Honestly
Navarro I had sent both of my sons and Baylee back to the main pack. Baylee is pregnant, and my other son’s mate just gave birth. I don’t need those two little ones in the middle of this war zone. I know the upcoming battle is going to be bloody, and I will not risk my sons. While Baylee couldn’t give us the exact location, she was still extremely helpful in getting us to the right area. I have seen a few wolves around, and by the scent, I picked up they are from the pack. I know that scent anywhere. I still have not caught Dominick’s scent, but I am sure that he will show up eventually. “I still think we should go west,” Franco says. “I know that is where the pack is but every person I have sent in that direction says there is nothing there. I am sure that someone is keeping them protected that is why it appears that there is no pack there.” I remark. “Well then what do we do?” He asks. “We wait. I know Dominick will show himself sooner or later.” I told him. I have
Hectate This was not how I pictured this situation happening. As we expected, Navarro followed Dominick’s trail south to the land that he had picked out. I had been sticking around for a while now, so then something happened. I would be there to give Dominick the serum so that he would die. Lillyana had put the spell in place that would erase Hephaestus and her memory of all of this. I would be the only one to remember this, so if something happened in the future, they could blame me. Everything was planned out by Dominick except the fact that Navarro and his gang showed up early and caught Dominick and his guys off guard. I had to watch hidden behind a large rock because I knew I couldn’t interfere. I knew Aphrodite had already found a new spot for the pack, which I knew Dominick had already moved all the women and young children to. Navarro came prepared with many men from his and the Garlindo family. How dare the Garlindo family turn on Dominick. Lillyana’s spell was in pl
Damian Marshall, Ian, and I had just arrived at the border of Navarro’s land when the air became electrified. We had Penthesilea and Phlegyas with us. They were supposed to be dead but thanks to Shade they were still alive. Shade had given them a serum to make it seem like they were dead. The gods had taken away their powers and immortality and they were set to be put to death but Shade came through again. To everyone, it did look like they died. After the gods had left them for dead, the three of us came and got them and took them to Shade. She was able to restore their immortality but not their powers. Only the gods have that kind of power. I could see Navarro was back, so I knew that meant Dominick was probably dead. That was his goal. The whole pack was gathering around him when the ground started to tremble. Shade was also able to make us immortal as well. The five of us stopped and watched the scene unfold. Mykenzie and Kylani showed up, and I swear the ground brok
Aphrodite It has been a week since Dominick was killed. Dimitri and I are sitting here discussing what the hell happened. Neither of us was there, so all we can do is guess. We had a beautiful gathering for Dominick. We celebrated the life he lived, and I think that is the way he would have wanted us to remember him. Not sit around and be sad. I am worried about my kids, though. All three were very close to Dominick, and his death hit them hard. Mykenzie and Kylani were pissed at Dimitri for not getting them. All of us were shocked when he told us that Dominick told him not to call for the girls. I don’t understand why he would want to let himself die. I guess he had his reason which none of us understands. I tried to get some information out of Dimitri, but he could not tell me the reason Dominick had. “How are they doing?” Hera asks. “Mykenzie and Kylani are still sleeping most of the time. I am not sure if it is because they used so much power or because they are
Dimitri These last two months have been hard. I think we are all still trying to wrap our minds around Dominick being no longer here with us. While I was sad and pissed that it happened, I am thankful that I was there when he passed and that I was able to say goodbye. I would normally try and stop the girls from going after someone. I let them do whatever this time. I had no qualms about letting them loose on Navarro and his goons after he killed my brother. “I still don’t understand why he wouldn’t let me call the girls to help him,” I tell Imyra. “I know you don’t and I doubt we will ever know the real reason, but he had his reasons for not allowing you to do that,” Imyra says to me. “I am just glad it is all over. No more having to deal with that worthless family.” I add. “That is true. I know Aphrodite said that the triplets are still searching for the bears. I guess Mykenzie and Kylani are out for blood.” Imyra states. Oh, I bet they are out for blood. If they
Kylani Well, another fifty years have flown by, and while we all still miss Dominick, we have moved on. Mykenzie and I are sitting here in a park. We had gotten word that those fucking bears were spotted here within the last two or three days so we decided to visit this town and see if we can track them down. With Navarro and his goons gone, we can now dedicate our time to finding the bears. This town is nice, and the forest here is perfect. It also helps that the pack that was allied with Dominick's pack is here. They have grown substantially. I would say that the pack has doubled in size. There are a few descendants of the old pack here as well. I am glad that the two packs merged. “Still no sign of those three fuckers.” Mykenzie huffs. “Yeah I picked up Ian’s scent but it was a few days old. Nothing new.” I point out. “I doubt they are here anymore,” Mykenzie says. We decide to head back to the desert area we normally reside in. There is something about that area
Chris They think I don’t know what they are up to. Oh, they are so wrong. I knew my sisters had been watching the new pack for many years. I think they felt as if they owed it to Dominick to watch over it since they weren’t able to save him. While we never found out why that wound killed him or why he wouldn’t let Dimitri call for my sisters, I did have my suspicions. I did a little research of my own about that damn ritual they performed on us when we were days old. “What are you thinking?” Rye asked me. “I think when Dimitri and Dominick chose the souls to split in half that Dominick split his soul in half and bound it to Kylani. That is why he never found his mate. I also think Kylani was his mate but since he bound half his soul to her the bond would never fully form.” I explained. “Why in the fuck would he do that?” Reece asks. “I don’t have that answer and I also have no proof that is what he did. But from talking to a few witches that I know and explaining to the
Chris It’s been a week since the last of the boys turned 24. The guys and I have been racking our brains, trying to figure out a way for us to introduce ourselves to the pack. So far, we have come up with jack-shit. There have been many ideas, but none of them is that great. Donte and Tarlek recently had Dustin approach them about working with their company. Donte thought that might be a way in, but it didn’t work out as we had planned. Tyrell comes walking in with a very sour look on his face. I know that something is seriously wrong. “We need to come up with something fast.” Tyrell states. “Why?” I asked. “I overheard Kylani and Mykenzie talking. While Mykenzie was trying to convince her otherwise, Kylani is positive that Kaleb has given up on her by now, and she doesn’t care if they meet.” Tarlek answers. I hang my head as the others let out both groans and sighs. I knew she had been feeling like this, but I had no idea that it had escalated to this extent. We stil
Poseidon A smile spreads across my face as I watch my girls move into their new apartment. Even though they thought I had died that day in the fire that had taken their mother's life, I had never stopped watching them. Sometimes I would watch them from Olympus, and sometimes I would watch them in person. They never knew I was there since I kept myself hidden, but I was there. I was so proud of Mykayla for graduating at the top of her class and landing this job. Dimitri had kept his word. He and Imyra watched the girls after Nyalia passed away, and I left to ensure they would continue to be safe. I have no idea how he did it, but Dimitri was able to get Mykayla a job in Dustin’s company. I was watching them as they sat at a cafe when someone sat down across from me. “Thank you,” I told Dimitri. “You never have to thank me for taking care of them. I have been present to watch all three of these girls grow up, and I would have done it without you asking. Don’t worry about Ara
Aphrodite Hera, Imyra, Athena, Persephone, and I are watching the party. It has started. The first of the boys is turning 24 today. Within the next three months, they will all have birthdays. I am relieved that this is finally coming to an end. More so that Kylani and Kaleb can finally meet. Today is Ashton’s birthday, and the party is going strong. I smile when I see Dustin look at us. I have never figured out why they are able to see us, but that is irrelevant now. Soon they will be part of our family and get to know all of us. I know we are anxious to see what happens. We all know that there is something special about this pack. We just can't figure out what it is. I know it has more to do with Dominick and Dimitri. Something else has played a major role, but I can't figure out what it is and who it came from. “Thank god, I am not sure if I could keep Kylani from him much longer.” Chris whines. “Well don’t worry honey. Kaleb is the next one to have a birthday so e
Penthesilea Goddammit, I have no idea what we are going to do. Phlegyas and I finally tracked down Tessa to help us after we killed Shade and took all her shit. We knew Tessa could read elvish languages. However, by the time we found her, someone had already fucked with her mind. The poor girl didn’t even know who she was and could barely speak at all. From what we learned from the people taking care of her, she had been found unconscious in her home. There were no visible wounds but whoever had gotten to her did a number on her mind. They wiped it out and left her. She acts at about the same mental capability as a two to three-year-old human child. She didn’t even know she was once a medium-power witch. No one knows who took her powers or memory, but it was obviously someone very powerful. I only know of three people with power like that. “The triplets wouldn’t care that much about a witch like her. I know they knew who she was, but I think they only met her once.” I st
Zeus It has been six months since Nyalia died in the fire. Hell, none of us even knew where she and her human mate were living. I was even more shocked to learn that she and her mate had two daughters. We found out that the oldest had just turned 18 a week ago. I did try and find them, but it was like they had vanished. After the oldest was taken to her grandmother by a family friend, it was like they never existed. I know that Ares tracked down the last known address of the grandmother, but all he found was a dilapidated shack that no human could survive living in. I could not find anything about the girls, like their names or even their birth certificate. Since the house burnt to the ground, any pictures went with it, so we didn’t even have pictures of them. I have a sneaking suspicion that Nyalia's mate wasn't human but maybe one of my brothers. I have no idea why any of them would hide the fact that they found their mate from the rest of us. I know that none of them wou
Kylani I swear if I could kill that asshole, I would. Leah’s dad is such a dick. I understand that he wasn’t the biggest fan of the dwarves, considering there are several thousand years of bad blood between the two races, and I also understand that he didn't want to fight a gigantic dragon. He still could have been a decent person and helped them when that same fucking dragon invaded their kingdom and deep-fried most of their people. Mykenzie and I are still pissed about that, even if it did happen over 500 years ago. I guess he was still pissing people off since we had to spend the last two years helping him and the rest of that realm. I have no idea what the hell has been going on there, but they seriously had a cluster fuck when Mykenzie and I showed up. I hated being away, but it turned out to be a good thing. I kept my mind off the pack and my soul bond. It was getting harder to stay away, and I knew that both Mykenzie and Chris were trying their hardest. The fact that w
Aphrodite I am used to my brothers acting weird, but this has gone on longer than normal. Poseidon was depressed for a few months about six months ago. I am positive that it had everything to do with Nyalia dying in a house fire. Her human mate was also killed in the fire, but the weird thing was that they never found his body. I always had my suspicions about those two but never brought them up. I was hoping that he would eventually tell us that they were together, but that has not happened, and I don’t expect it to now. I smile as I watch Nate blow out the candles on his cake. He turned 22 today. Two more still have birthdays coming up in the near future. I know from here on out, Chris is going to have his hands full, keeping his sisters away. They finally got all the shit cleared up in that other realm. It took them two years to clean up that mess. From what I was told, Chris had to stop his sisters from killing Leah's father. I am not surprised, considering I knew it w
Mykayla I woke up suddenly from that dream I had been having for years. It started out the same. I was at a party with several other kids, a few older than me. The five boys that stood out the most are why I am not sure. After that, most of the dream is a blur except for him and his crystal ice-blue eyes. It always ended with a wall of water topped with white-hot fire. None of it made sense, and I had no idea what to make of it. The boys seemed familiar, and I swear I had seen them before. Not to mention that one of them look a lot like Uncle Dimitri. I knew he wasn’t really my uncle, but he had been around since I was born, so Bree and I called him Uncle Dimitri. Aunt Imyra was also around; we were lucky to have them in our lives. I was aware that they had two kids, a boy named Micah and a girl named Daniylla but we had never met them. Well, as far as our parents knew, we hadn’t met them. Daniylla we had never met, but Micah showed up one day when I had Bree at the park,
Poseidon This is not exactly what I expected to happen. I knew the bears had been watching the pack for the last few years. They were not able to step onto the pack's land, but they were seen around the borders and in town. Nyalia was getting anxious, and we decided to move again. We moved to the other side of the pack, and up until a few weeks ago, everything had grown eerily quiet. Mykayla turned 17 six months ago and was doing well in high school. I have no idea how Dimitri did it, but he found out that the company that Alpha Reece was running offered jobs to newly graduates; the only stipulation was that the new graduate had to work for their company for a year. This worked out well since the high school that she went to offered college-level courses to juniors and seniors. This meant that she would have her associate's degree by the time she graduated. This excited her, and I know she was working hard. I had helped her look up different colleges, and she had settled on o
