Chapter 2 How much is your love worth?

"Paid what??? I don't know what you are talking about! Bastard, I'm going to sue you..."

"Sue me?" Roy was slightly stunned, as if he was listening to a joke, and sneered disdainfully, "Stupid woman."

As Roy said this, he seemed to have no patience, and suddenly threw Sophie back on the bed, turned around and went directly into the bathroom.

Sophie was still in shock, and looked at the bathroom door nervously, and the sound of water came out slowly from inside.

Although Sophie didn't know this man, she was sure that a man with extraordinary temperament like him would definitely not lack women.

Sophie forced herself to calm down. Last night, I met Serena just after getting off the plane. Serena handed me a bottle of drink... After that, I didn't remember anything.

"Is it her?"

Sophie got off the bed, quickly grabbed the clothes on the floor, and left immediately.

Five minutes later...

A tall and handsome figure walked out of the bathroom. There were still drops of water on his fair and strong chest. He casually wore a bath towel on his lower body, and his deep eyes looked towards the bed.

The bed was empty. The woman had left, but there was a trace of dark red on the white sheets.

Roy frowned slightly, feeling a little irritated for some reason. Suddenly, the phone on the bedside rang.

"Mr. Robert I'm really really sorry. The supermodel I was supposed to send over last night had a car accident on the way..."

Roy's cold face froze, and with a snap, the phone was hung up directly.

The woman with long curly hair, lowered her head, and hugged her clothes with both hands. She looked dazed, and walked towards main road in a hurry...

What should I do...

Why did this happen?

Sophie's mind was in a mess. She had just returned home last night, but she just slept with a strange man in a hotel.

Suddenly, a gentle and handsome face flashed through Sophie's mind. Her eyes were full of panic and guilt. How could I face Wilson...

"Sophie?" Suddenly a familiar voice came.

Sophie's body suddenly froze and she turned her head in disbelief. How could it be such a coincidence?

"Sophie, it's really you."

On the left side of the road, a lady with exquisite makeup and expensive clothes leaned out of the white Bentley and shouted at her. There was some surprise in her voice, but no joy.

"Sophie, get in the car, I just have something to ask you." The lady's tone was cold and indifferent, with a strong command.

Sophie looked hesitant and guilty, pursing her lips tightly, looking at the expensive Bentley on the left. Why did she meet her at this time...

Seeing her hesitation, the old lady sneered, "Sophie, don't you even remember me? I am Wilson's mother..."

Sophie certainly remembered this snobbish woman, but... She couldn't help but look at the kiss mark on her chest. She was at a loss, pulled her clothes, smoothed her long hair to cover her chest, and had to bite the bullet and walk towards the lady.

"Mrs. Brown. Hi." Sophie tried to greet her in a proper manner.

"Get in the car. Maybe Wilson hasn't told you something yet. I must tell you today."

The driver opened the door. Sophie sat beside him, half lowered her head, and asked in a low voice, "Mrs. Brown what do you wanna tell me?"

The old lady glanced at Sophie and saw that she was nervous and submissive. She laughed disdainfully, "Sophie, you have been wasting Wilson's life for four years. Now you are backm, what are your plans for the future?"

"Mrs.Brown, Wilson and I are truly in love..."

Sophie knew that this woman had always looked down on her. How could she greet her so kindly? It was probably some sarcasm again. It was just that her voice of rebuttal was a little weak this time because she felt guilty...

"How much is your love worth, Sophie? I have already told you that our Brown family will never accept you. It's just that Wilson is a stubborn kid. Fortunately, he has figured it out now..." The lady's words suddenly stopped.

She softened her tone and emphasized, "Anyway, Sophie, stop bothering Wilson and get out of his life."

In the past four years, Sophie has heard such words countless times. It is obvious that Wilson's mother doesn't like her, but Wilson always treats her very well. He said that they will face everything together, and his family will accept it sooner or later, but now Sophie has no courage.

Sophie lowered her head, thinking of what happened last, she feels herself not deserve to Wilson anymore...
