CHAPTER 5

A large ball of light moving in circular motion appears on Elijah’s right palm and before Cerberus can react, he smashes it into its back with his duplicates doing the same at its rear and face, the impact rips through the atmosphere as the attack disintegrates Cerberus completely with not a single trace left for it to regenerate 

PAIMON : But how??... How is this possible?? ( with shock on his face) 

ELIJAH : well I noticed that no matter how I injured your beast it just ended up regenerating from it so I thought to myself, how about I don’t injure it and instead try to destroy it with one attack, apparently that worked out well…. Anyways now that I have defeated your beats I hope you’d do me the honor of gracing me with your presence down here… 

PAIMON : Your head shall soon be mine… 

ELIJAH : That’s not happening… 

Paimon dashes towards Elijah at light speed and throws a punch at him when he comes within reach, Elijah blocks the punch and returns his own but is also blocked by Paimon, they go at each other for a while with their blows getting more intense with each successive hit, the area around them begins to crack under pressure with the ground beneath them forming a crater which enlarges has they continue their combat, Elijah uses his knee to try and hit Paimon in his groin but Paimon blocks and returns with a blow to Elijah’s side, Elijah takes a few steps back and steadies himself for a second round 

PAIMON : Give up now and I’ll give you a quick death… 

ELIJAH : Are you kidding me??... I’m just getting warmed up 

Elijah plants his feet in the earth and launches himself at Paimon with such force as to break the ground beneath him, Paimon covers his right hand in dark flame and spreads it in an arc towards Elijah, Elijah outs up his arms to block the attack and cuts right through it, Paimon attempts to block the attack but is unsuccessful has Elijah makes impact before he can react, Elijah makes contact with Paimon’s face using his fist and sends him flying over a hundred meters away, crashing into the earth and creating a large crater in the process 

ELIJAH : Hmm, didn’t think he’d fly so far away, I guess I put too much in the punch 

A dark aura begins to float out of where Paimon had landed, the aura sent a chill down Elijah’s spine has it erupted in large volumes engulfing the whole island in a devilish atmosphere

ELIJAH : What is this dark presence I feel??....  ( with a worry on his face) 

Paimon soon rises up from where he had landed with Elijah seeing that the origin of the dark aura he felt was coming from the archdemon before him 

PAIMON : Up until now I had underestimated you and your kind, you clearly are a worthy foe but you seem to forget who you are up against….. I had told you that I would show you the true power of an archdemon, now gaze upon my power and cower at its glorious feel…. ( with a darkness in his eyes and terror in his voice) 

Paimon let’s out a roar and the dark aura that was coming out of his being becomes even more violent has it increases in volume even further, Elijah outs his arm up to block himself from the enormous pressure coming from Paimon but is caught off-guard has Paimon teleports to his front and kicks him hard before he can react, Elijah is crushed under the pressure of Paimon has the ground beneath him shatters at the force of Paimon’s kick, another kick from Paimon to Elijah’s groin sends him flying into a rock, shattering it upon impact 

PAIMON : Now you shall know pain ( with a dreadful laugh) 

ELIJAH : Damn it… he seems to have gotten stronger all of a sudden, I guess I shouldn’t have been so cocky ( muttering softly has he picked himself from the shattered remains of the rock he had collided with) 

Paimon begins to move towards Elijah with a grin, his body overflowing with dark energy, his aura began to form spikes behind him which he hurls at Elijah to make a statement, Elijah dodges the spikes with ease and rushes towards Paimon to engage in close combat 

PAIMON : Foolish human, even now you do not have the humility to accept defeat and just give up already 

ELIJAH : Sorry but giving up is not something I’m familiar with 

Elijah success in in wiping the grin off Paimon’s face with his words has the grin became a frown, Paimon doesn’t stand in ceremony but charges towards Elijah as well with both men meeting at the middle with colliding fists as a shockwave erupts upon impact. Paimon and Elijah trade blows with increased intensity has the speed of their attacks increase even further, Paimon takes a step back and spreads his arms 

PAIMON : Pitch black… Now gaze upon the darkness has it envelopes and swallows your light 

ELIJAH : The hell… 

Their surroundings is immediately covered in thick and utter darkness with visibility rendered impossible, Elijah stood still has the darkness converged around him 

PAIMON : What’s wrong human??... Can’t you see me?? 

ELIJAH : The hell is this darkness, it’s sickening 

PAIMON : Ha-ha ( Bursting into a laugh that Elijah could hear from everywhere causing him to try covering his ears) 

Elijah tries to calm his nerves has he was getting worried, he is almost done doing so when a fist connects with his jaw and breaks his line of concentration, Elijah steps back a bit and is about to move forward to where the fist had come out from when he was met with another fist to his side from the left, Elijah grabs his groin and is about to kick in that direction when he is greeted with a barrage of punches from every angle in the thick darkness around him, Elijah falls to the ground and coughs a bit has he held on to his groin 

PAIMON : What’s the matter, oh great chosen one, why do you crawl on the earth like an animal??.... Where is all your cockiness now, ei ( the laughter around the darkness gets even more sinister has the sound echoed throughout the lonely abyss )

ELIJAH : Not yet…. I’m not done yet .. ( muttering to himself has he struggled to get back to his feet 

PAIMON : Huh, what are you saying to me, speak already.. 

ELIJAH : I said, not yet…. I’m not giving up just yet!!!!! ( He screams his head off after which he steadies himself at the middle of the darkness around him) 

Elijah clasps his hands and spreads his legs out slightly, he begins to grow brightly causing the sinister laugh of Paimon to die down 

PAIMON : What are you doing?? ( he yells has he sends more punches at Elijah, but this time Elijah blocks them with ease has he kept his cool 

ELIJAH : I can’t see anywhere in this darkness making it easy for him to hide in it and use it for sneak attacks, what a coward, In that case, I’ll just have to even things up ( muttering to himself has he began to shine even brighter than he was before)…. Heavenly art : Rays of infinite radiation 

A bright light comes out of Elijah and immediately expands like an explosion has it began to erase the thick darkness that had enveloped him at the spot he stood, Paimon is blinded by the light has it became to intense for him to look directly at, before he can regain himself a fist connects with his jaw sending him flying a few meters away 

ELIJAH : Now we can get back to our little fight 

PAIMON : Why, you…..
