«CLARA’S POV»

"Clara, we already sorted out our issues. Can't you let Ophelia go?" Adrian turned and pleaded on Ophelia’s behalf.

His voice was calm, but it only made my blood boil hotter.

Ha! So now he’s protecting her? Of course he is. I was stupid to ever think he cared about me. All this time, he was just playing games.

I laughed bitterly inside.

"No, I won’t let her off!" I snapped, stepping closer, daring him to try and stop me.

Ophelia whimpered and hid behind Adrian, clutching his shirt like a scared pup. She started talking in her low, pitiful voice, pretending to be sorry.

”It’s okay, Adrian," she said in a fake, trembling voice. "If Clara wants to punish me, I’ll accept it. I was the one who acted blindly and hurt her… I... deserve it"

Pathetic.

Her act didn’t fool me. She wasn’t sorry. She was just scared—scared of what I’d do now that I wasn’t holding back anymore.

Too bad for her. I was done playing nice!

“Clara, let her go,” Adrian said again, looking at me se

« CLARA » The Blood Moon Ceremony is only a week away, and the Dark Howl Pack is buzzing with excitement. Anticipation hums in the air weaving through every conversation, every movement. Preparations are underway everywhere I look—ornaments hanging from trees, banners fluttering in the wind, and omega servants rushing to ensure no detail is overlooked. « CLARA » Like a black panther, Adrian stands protectively in front of my small frame, his huge naked body glistening under the moonlight, his tanned muscles rippling as he shifts slightly, ready to pounce if needed. A figure emerges from the shadows, and my breath hitched. But it wasn't an enemy—it was Ryan, Adrian's beta and childhood friend. I huff in relief. Ryan smirks as he approach, his hands raises in mock surrender. “I knew I’d find you two here.” Adrian growls low in his throat, a warning to Ryan not to overstep. I quickly finish to dress, my cheeks burning as Ryan’s eyes flick to me for a split second. “Ryan Coleman,” Adrian’s voice becomes colder, “Look at my mate one more time and I will tear your eyes out!” Ryan visibly flinches but recovers quickly, turning his back to give me privacy. “Why are you here?” Adrian gnarls at his beta, clearly irritated. “There’s a meeting in your office,” Ryan answers, “Alpha Elijah, Andromeda, and some council el

« CLARA » The following days drift by like a blur with it a day to the Blood Moon ceremony. The thought sends a rush of excitement through me because this was the first ceremony I'd organized ever since I became Queen of the Dark Howl pack. Thankfully, I carried out my task perfectly, and we could only wait for the day to arrive. But lately, the air in the pack has changed. Aside from the upcoming ceremony, the prophecy was all anyone talks about now. I see the unease in their eyes, feel the tension in every whispered conversation. Some people were afraid. Others were suspicious, as they believed the cursed wolf could be among them. I refused to let such nonsense ruin my joy or deter my attention from the ceremony preparations. Dressed in a flowing blue gown that clings to my curveous hourglass body, I stride confidently through the packhouse. My heels click softly against the polished floor. As an Alpha’s daughter, I keep my head high, knowing the respect I command

A soft knock at the door pulls me from my thoughts. "Luna, the Alpha King is waiting," the omega’s voice comes from outside. Taking in a deep breath, I snatch up my black diamond purse, which matches my black heels flawlessly. With one last subtle glance at the mirror, I made my way out of the room. As I descend the grand stairs, the omega servant closely follows behind until we reach the parking lot. Ryan stands by the car, waiting. His eyes briefly scans me before he bows slightly. «CLARA’S POV»The garden was deadly silent… until it wasn’t. Gasps erupted around us, loud and disbelieving, as Adrian’s lips crashed against mine in front of everyone. For a moment, I couldn’t move. My body was frozen, my mind reeling. Adrian’s lips had been on mine—warm, demanding, and achingly familiar. Against my will, my heart had leapt, my traitorous body responding before my thoughts could catch up. For one terrifying, exhilarating moment, I forgot everything. The betrayal. The resentment. The pain. There was only him—the warmth of his mouth, the familiar scent of his skin, the way my body responded before my mind could catch up. I hated that part of me… the part that wanted more. My body, without permission, reacted to him. The kiss had me paralyzed. His lips now become rough and desperate against mine, grounding me in place, making my stupid heart react when it shouldn’t have.A small, traitorous part of me even wanted him not to stop. Then reality came rushing back.

Why can't I seem to forget this man? For a moment, the atmosphere suddenly turns quiet. Savanna and Brandon stop speaking, and I threw a look at them, raising my brow, silently asking them what’s wrong. But none could answer. They could only lower their eyes in unease and apprehension. Then Ravenanna leans forward, anger swimming on her face. “What is he doing here?! Don't tell you guys settled the scores last time?” She hisses. What? I frowned. What the hell is she saying? I was confused. So, I followed the directions behind my back where she was pointing. It was then I saw him. Adrian was walking toward us. He was in all

They collided with a sickening crash that sent vibrations through the ground, sharp claws slicing the air, fangs gnashing and tearing. The sounds of snarls, snapping jaws, and bone-jarring impacts filled the air, drowning out even Jasmine’s terrified cries. “S-stop!” She shrieked, scrambling backward, tripping over herself as blood sprayed across the floor. Both men pounced violently, wrestled, and slammed each other into the walls, the stones cracking beneath the weight of their savage bodies.
