Frank swore to jump off the cliff if I didn't call off the police, I turned back, and out of compulsion, I begged Inspector Jude to call back his officers.

He didn't want to but had no choice.

He called off his officers and I turned back hoping to get to my brother before he did something bad.

I closed my eyes in shock, everything seized before me.
