Selfish thoughts

I woke up in the morning to the sounds of bustles and noise around the tower, thankfully I hadn’t drunk anything at last night’s ball, I didn’t want what repeated at the blood moon rites party to happen again

I just couldn’t take another damn hangover,

I had gone to the bathroom, taken my bath, and stepped out, to wear my casual clothes, of pants and a shirt, I hated the norms of women being bound to only gowns and skirts, so I wore a shirt with a high turtle neck to cover the bite marks over my neck and my tattoo,

I had finished dressing when the maid knocked on my door,

“ come in,” I said as I walked over to her, she bowed slightly to me,

“ Good morning lady Freya, alpha Nathan is expecting you to be at the breakfast table,” she announced

Right, Nathan, I still had to find a way to get to talk to him.
