~~"Woah!"

~~"What does she think she is doing?"

I heard all the whispers that cake with both shock and surprise but I didn't care at this moment.

I've thrown anything called shame aside to save my life, I have a feeling that if I stay in the Pack for a night, I might not live to see the next morning.

"Layla Erlod what do you think you are doing?!" Alpha Maxwell yelled out my name.

Hehe! It felt so good seeing then react this way.

I looked at my target intently but he just looked at me without saying a word, I have a feeling in my heart that I'm been belittled by him.

"I want you to marry me!" I gathered up all the courage I've accumulated my entire life and repeated what I have just said.

""Do you know what you are talking about?!" He finally replied.

"Of course I know" I pushed the person standing in front of me away to look at him very well so that he can see how serious I am at this moment.

And again he did not say anything... Are you words so precious that you can't even talk to me!

Anyway I just have to keep on convincing him.

"I have nothing now but I don't plan to give up, I can't let them laugh at me now that I have nothing." I said what was in my heart.

A man will definitely fall for such words.

"That's not enough..." He spoke again giving me hope. I just have to keep on trying.

"I am the prettiest of all females in this Pack and except me, who will be able to go back with you and Be the Luna you seek...'" I blurted out what my confidence lies in.

"I know we are not mates, but look at them. I am his Mate but he still abandoned me and left me for some pure Angel" I continued speaking as I sighed continuously before I suddenly realized that I don't know anything about the person I asked to marry me.

What if he already has a Mate or even a fiancee?!

Oh my God! I almost became like that white cunning angel.

"To be on the safe side, Do you have a Mate or a fiancee? I don't want to be like the people that I despise" I rolled my eyes as I spoke.

"Layla! Watch how you speak!" I heard Maxwell's voice that was full of anger protecting another girl which is not me.

I turned and glanced at him, "I didn't say anything wrong so why are you so angry" I looked him up and down.

"Do you even know what you are doing?! You should not provoke those you are not supposed to provoke because of the anger in your heart" Mrs Erlod looked at me with affection in her eyes but unfortunately I don't want to listen.

"I indeed have anger in my heart, But I'm not confused. This is one of the times that my head is very very clear" I smiled slightly.

"Stop it! If you are so desperate to be with me, I will make you my mistress" Maxwell gripped my hand and spoke with all self righteousness.

"What?!"

"I will marry you!" Another voice sounded behind me 

My eyes widened!!

What did I just hear?!

I turned sharply and stared at him in shock, I guess in not the only one who is surprised by the sudden development.

"Really?!" I ignored the annoying ones and took a step closer to him but once again his guard came and stood in front of me preventing me from going further.

"You can't change your mind!" I reminded him not minding that I was stopped from approaching him.

"Alpha Santiago! This isn't right!" Maxwell suddenly spoke.

"In what position are you to tell me what's right or wrong?" My mouth had a shape of 'O' after he spoke.

He really doesn't fear anyone!

Wow!! Seems like I won a jackpot this time.

But if not why did he want to kill me at that time... Anyway forget it, it's all in the past.

"Layla Erlod is not only a female in my Pack, she was my fiancee" Maxwell spoke while I glared at him.

I just want to twist his lips and stop him from talking nonsense.

"What does it have to do with me?" I heard Alpha Santiago speak again.

"Yes! What does it have to do with you?" I placed my hand on my waist and pushed out my chin and asked Maxwell.

"Let's go" 

I turned my head to see Alpha Santiago standing not far from me.

Looking at him closely, I can't help but swallow.

The Black brocade fabric and is impeccable temperament look like a King amongst King.

Even Maxwell can't compare even if he dresses the same way as him

"Huh?"

"Do you still want to stay here?" He asked.

"No, not at all. But I still have a maid that I want to take with me" I replied hoping that he will agree.

If he doesn't agree, I won't leave. I can't leave Helen here.

"Bring her along. We will be leaving tomorrow morning" He agreed and walked past him.

"Thank you!" I made to chase behind him but I was held by Maxwell.

"Do you know who he is?!" He asked looking serious and I can tell that the worry in his eyes are serious.

"I don't care. Congratulations on being the Alpha king" I pulled away and held my dress running after Alpha Santiago.

I got to his car and wanted to climb in but the Stone faced guard who i guess is a Beta stood in front of me.

"Please, Go into the next car" He said to me.

"Oh..." I moved my head and glanced at the person inside the car before heading into the other car.

Even the car looks so luxurious.

Sitting in the car I can't help but recall all that happened today.

Raising my hands I wiped off the tears that fell from my eyes.

All the people that I loved and trusted, all at once they turned around and acted lije strangers.

" Miss we are here" I felt a cold wind blow at me, turning I realized that the door has been opened.

I lost myself in grief that I didn't know that we've reached my home.

Getting out of the car, I cleaned up my tears so Helen won't know that I've been crying.

"I will be back" I said to the Stone faced Beta but after taking a few steps I saw Alpha Santiago standing in front of his car as if waiting for me.

His face was still masked but I can't help but be curious of how it will look without the mask.

"You were crying?" He glanced at me slightly and suddenly said.

"It's nothing, I will go in and call Helen." I muttered and walked past him.

As for packing? I won't take anything from here apart from the dress I'm wearing now.

"Miss! Help me!" I stepped in and what I saw was Helen running to me bleeding on her face and looking tattered like someone who was beaten

"Helen!!" I yelled and caught her before she fell to the floor.

"Miss~ please help me!"
