Chapter One Hundred and Thirty-Three

Liam’s POV

After Emma had asked me to go see my dad on Monday, it was most definitely bothering me.

I didn’t have a chance to go over there on that Monday in particular, neither did I have a chance to get there on Tuesday as I was pulled into multiple meetings, so I put it in mind to go over there today, Wednesday, especially because my dad was supposed to have shown up to work today for a board meeting but didn’t.

Once work was over for the day, thankfully I didn’t have anything spill into overtime, I headed straight over to my parents' house.

“Hi, Lilian,” I smiled tiredly, greeting Lilian as I walked into the house.

“Hello and good evening, Mr. Liam. How are you doing today?” she asked, her usual bubbly smile plastered across her lips.

“I’m good. Thank you. And you?” I asked.

“Very well. Would you like me to get you anything? Something to eat or drink perhaps?”

“No thanks,” I chuckled lightly. “I’m just here to have a talk with my parents. My dad mostly. Where is he?”
