"My lady—"
"I'm not in the mood Gwen, tell Mama that I want to have my dinner inside my room." I cut her words off.
She looks confused when I walk pass on her and went straight to my room.
I'm pissed, so much that I want to kill right now.
He was playing with me, I didn't realize that he was like that. It's disgusting, the way he smile and the way he looked at me, it's making me vomit.
I immediately wash my hands roughly until I can no longer smell his scent on my hands.
I tore the dress I was wearing and threw it on the trash bin.
As I looked my face on the mirror, my eyes are red because of frustration. I can't believe I was such a stupid lunatic woman in the past, I fell in love with someone disgusting.
His touch and his kiss, I can still feel it. I growled and jumped on the bed to erase my frustration, but it gets worse.
Hades Sylvestre, the eldest among the seven royalty siblings. He was given the title as the Crown Prince and the first in line to the throne, he's ruthless and doesn't live among the opinions of others, he only thinks of himself.
That bastard left me when everyone goes against to me, he left me because I no longer have use to him.
Such reason, I will never accept it.
Shame, If only I killed him before I died then my reborn would not be so bad at it is.
I heard a knock from the door and Mother entered with worry on her face carrying the tray of food.
"Ali, are you not feeling well?" Mother asked after she put the tray on the side table.
I shook my head and get up. She caressed my face down to my neck and hold my hand, Mother really is a sweet woman.
"Mama I'm fine," I said to stop her worry.
"I'd like to make sure that my daughter is fine."
I smiled and stuck my head on her arms, embracing her smell and soft skin, Mother really is the best.
"I heard that the Crown Prince visited? His Butler gave me the invitation for his birthday celebration."
My forehead fumed with disgust hearing his name, I want to throw up right now.
"Uh huh," I answered avoiding myself to make a bitter sound.
She let go from my embrace and looked at me. "You look worn out, are you really fine?"
My eyes closed and open repeatedly before I shook my head.
"Actually mama, I have something to tell you." I tried making my voice convincing as the commercial in an opera.
"What is it Ali?"
Let me say it now or I will no longer have the chance to say it to her.
"Mama, I want to live inside the Palace. I want to stay with his highness, I'm... I'm really in love with him to the point that it's making me feel insecure with the noble ladies entering the Palace."
I clenched my fist to hide my disgust in every words I said.
Mother's mouth left opened looking at me with surprise.
"Is that the reason why you're feeling unwell?" she asked.
My forehead bittered, it doesn't have to do with it. I'm not unwell, I'm totally mad and frustrated. I couldn't even bring myself to directly look at him.
"Y-Yes," I answered.
She sighs before she caressed my shoulders. "You should've told me, but it's making me feel sad that you wanted to live separately with us."
My eyes widen and immediately shook my head, there's no way!
"Mama, you will always be my home, you, papa, the knights, and the servants are my family."
Her lips trembles and I saw tears coming from her eyes. "You've grown Ali, you've changed so much that It's making me scared."
She pulled me closer and hugged me, I heard her sobs that makes my body softened.
I can't just stay happy until everything repeats again, I will make them suffer, the one who was behind our death.
After that, I will let them live freely until I got to see their smiles, I got to see them getting older and die with nothing, but a happy memories.
Mother seems to had a talk with Papa, I know that papa wouldn't worry too much because he trust the Empire so much, but in the end he was betrayed by the Empire itself.
"My Lady, please bring me with you—"
"Do you know why mother birds forget their babies?" I asked making her paused for a moment.
A smile formed on my lips as my eyes stares at the moon that shines so brightly.
"because they no longer need to guide their babies to fly," I continued.
Someday, she will understand me.
"Gwen, will you still follow me even if I turn into an evil one?" I asked.
Of course, I already know the answer.
"Yes, my lady. I will never abandon you even if it means going against to the God, I will always be with you."
That's right, never did I doubt her. She was always like that, giving her life to me until nothing has left to her.
That's why I'm making this decision to change everything, even if it means making her go against to me.
"I already made my decision, I will not bring anyone from the D'aureville manor. His highness would give me his most favorable servant right?" I turn my gaze on her and I saw how her eyes glittered with questions.
Yes, the favorable servant would be the Butler, I will start with him until I got to see how his life will end.
Of course it wouldn't be boring to start with him since he took his own life just to acknowledge me as the one who killed him.
"Will you really be alright without Gwen?" Mother asked.
I stopped and turn my head on her. "Of course mama, I trust his Highness."
I trust him so much that my inside wants him dead.
Father offered his hand and helped me to ride the carriage sent by the Crown Prince himself.
What a thoughtful bastard.
"I'm jealous with your father, he can enter the palace without a problem that's why he looks at ease," mother hissed and glares at my father who was laughing.
"There's no way, I'm sad too, see? I'm sad."
He avoid the slap from my mother, they look so cute that it makes me calm.
I will protect them, no one can ever lay a hand on them.
My eyes stares at them before I wave my hand as a farewell, for now. I must leave the manor to ensure my plan and to succeed from every steps I make.
The carriage already moved and I saw them waving their hands on me, my eyes left on Gwen who looks sad until I lost their gazes.
When the carriage became quiet, I felt my expression darken. The coldness of my inside is just too strong that I want to destroy everything I see.
An hour passed, the carriage stopped and entered the golden elegant gate, the tall pine trees are making it look more beautiful.
The entrance of the Sylvestre Empire, I can already hear the loud pleads of the people when I was sent to death, when my head was cut off on the guillotine.
I grabbed my neck feeling the suffocation, how can I not forget everything when even a glimpse of the palace makes me lose my breath?
"We're here my lady," the knight says and opened the carriage door.
I swallowed hard before I formed my lips with a bright smile.
I am going to start here.
"Talia."
My eyes turn on the carriage door and I saw him giving a hand, damn, how could I forgot that he's here?
I accepted his hand and stepped out on the carriage, the smell of the breeze coming from the Palace is making me vomit.
I felt his hand on me when we entered the Palace, around ten servants are following us.
Where is he?
Where is the Butler?
"Greetings your Highness and to you the lady of D'aureville, I already prepared the gazebo for you to have your time with each other."
I grinned when I heard the voice, the man I've been waiting for.
"It's been a while Sir Gavin, you're still good looking as ever."
He chuckled and shook his head. "There's no way my lady," he humbly denied.
"Yeah, of course since his Highness is the most good looking of all."
Hades gave me a cold stare before he smiled. "Do you really love me that much?" he asked.
I burst a laugh, I was in love with you before you looked at me pathetically when I died.
"Don't tease me your Highness, I'm still too young. Your Highness will always be in my heart until I got to marry you," I said with my tone full of love.
God knows how I am too much as a liar. Well, I don't believe in Gods anyway.
The chirp sound from the bird resting on the tree makes me calm in the middle of having his presence. He was reading a book while crossing his legs, not even giving me a slight glimpse. I sipped the tea from the teacup and elegantly put it back on the table. The sound of the wind, the sound of the trees, all of it was too familiar to me. I turn my gaze on the side where the big tree and a swing can be seen, the memories of my young self hiding behind the tree while staring at Hades, reading on his book while sitting on the swing, it flashed inside my mind. I remember how my young self was head over heels to have his attention, I fell in love with him because of the thought that he was meant for me. Since the day I was born, I was crowned with the Crown Princess title since I am the only woman with the highest nobility in aristocrats table. I was destined to be in his side
"These are the servants that was sent by the Crown Prince, they are all well-trained to fulfill all your needs."The Butler arrived earlier inside my chamber together with these unfamiliar servants, all of them were looking like a doll standing with no emotion on their faces.Isn't it funny? To see how Hades created these servants just for me? Well, it's not like I don't know his purpose, he sent these servants to guard me and to report everything I am doing to him.I tapped my fingers on the table, looking at them from head to their toes. All of them are exactly the same, from their emotions to their looks. I wonder what sort of families do they came from?"Is there anything you wanted to say my lady?" the Butler asked.I crossed my legs and observed them, each one of them should have at least one emotion to be seen. They're good at hiding, it's a 100% scale from one to ten that they
It was around afternoon when Fara told me that the banquet for the celebration of Hades's 16th birthday will be today. That's why I am here right now, sitting in front of the mirror while Fara was doing my hair.My twelve-year-old appearance is exactly the same as what I remember, a beauty of a young lady. There's nothing new, I still have the beauty that can seduce other men. My eyebrows furrowed when Pursues's face suddenly flashed inside my mind, that night when he kissed my hand."Fara," I called."Yes, your Highness?" she answered. She's still not yet done doing my hair."What do you think of me? Am I pretty?" I asked. She looked on the mirror, seeing my face before her eyes went back to my hair. "You're not just pretty your Highness, you're the most gorgeous among the noble ladies."I pouted. "It's not like you've seen all the noble ladies." Especially that woman, the woman I've been wa
I was holding my skirt firmly as I ran across the hallway from the exit of the banquet hall. The only thing that matters for me is to do my revenge, to make them pay for what they've done in the past, but how could he act like that? What changed him? When I reached the hallway to the nearest entrance near the library, I saw Fara leaning against the wall and when her eyes found me, she immediately walk towards me. "Your Highness, the librarian already left and this place is already secured just like what you ordered." I removed my heels before entering the library. Fara was holding my heels before she locked the entrance door of the library. I immediately walked towards the area where the history books of the Sylvestre are kept. My eyes landed on the bookshelves with the crest of the Imperial Palace, it's exactly the same as the past. This area has always been a s
"It's a great morning my Lady," the Butler greeted before he led me inside the dining hall.I was welcomed by the two princes, Frontier Sylvestre and Caspian Sylvestre. They were eating silently when I entered the dining hall, it looks like they doesn't really give any interest to their surroundings.I silently sat down on the dining chair beside Caspian. I tried not to make a noise when I started lifting my spoon and knife to slice the steak."How old are you?"I paused when I heard Frontier's question. I looked at him and realized that he was looking at me, is he asking me about my age?"I'm twelve your Highness," I answered. His lips parted before giving me a slight smile. "I'm thirteen, Caspian is the same but I'm two months older than him. Do you like horse riding?" he asked.I shook my head before eating the spoon of sliced steak and broccoli. In the past, I always lo
I heard the loud noise from the outside realizing that father was already back from his trip. I immediately ran outside while holding the book I was reading and eventually saw my father entering with a child beside him. My eyebrows furrowed. "Father, who's that?" I asked trying to hide my irritation. His eyes found mine before he started to whimper like a puppy, what the hell? "He's going to be your brother," he answered before he carried the child on his arms. It's not like the child can't walk so why would father carry him. I scoffed before rolling my eyes. I can't believe it, that child? As my brother? It triggers me to pull his body away from my father's arm, I don't like him. "Honey, you're back." Mother went down from the stairs and stopped when her eyes found the child on father's arms. "He's Trevor honey, he's going to be our son." "Wait, Trejhan you didn't told me
We arrived at the Palace by the help of sir Ocea. He said that Hades receive the notice of my absence in the palace and thought that I was at the D'aureville manor.Fara was carrying Trevor on her arms, she insisted on carrying him since Trevor fell asleep when we were on the carriage."Thank your Sir Ocea," I said with a smile on my face.He seems to be in daze, I tried waving my hand in front of his face to wake him up.His eyes blinked for a moment before he bowed with panic. "It's a pleasure to serve you, your Highness."It appears that he needs a better rest since he's about to lose his energy.Fara was following my steps when we reached the entrance door of the Emerald Palace where I am staying. It's the palace that was given to me by Hades himself, a Palace for Princesses.I was about to open the door when suddenly Fara pulled me at the back of the wall near the pine trees.I hissed when I s
"What is that?" I stopped from writing when Fara entered, carrying a white box."It's an invitation for you your Highness," she answered and put the box on the table.I lowered my pen on the table before opening the box with dozen of invitation cards.I got to see myself feeling irritated because of the envelopes I am seeing right now.I checked the invitation cards one by one and realized that they are from different noble ladies. Those little girls only knows how to specialize their teacups and desserts on the table, I don't think I can learn anything from them.I finished checking the invitation cards and let out a sigh when I found nothing that caught my interest."Burn it all," I ordered.Fara removed the box together with the cards from my table before leaving my room.I stretched my arms before massaging my temple to ease my headache, I've been writing some important thin

I took a deep breath before getting the pen and the paper on my bag. I opened the 13th page and started writing.“Spring has come but I feel like Iʼm a naked body standing outside the winter. Shivering and being devoured by the cold. All those days of plague and pain has overwhelmed me and turned my life into mayhem. Little by little I am swallowed by the devastating world and hollowed by afflictions and self-doubt.Those floral days are over, paradise fled away and transmigrated into a dire world filled with pure melancholy.”Upon writing those words I crumpled the paper and throwed it. I dropped my pen for I donʼt know what to write anymore. When I turn my gaze outside the window, the sunset was creating a light to the path of freedom.I smiled with warmth painted on my face. As I started to write another letter for the next 14th page.Dear Unknown,
The sky wears a mix color of black and gray. I cast about some luscious voice but heard the whisper of the cold wind that will likely bring downpour and thunder.Later I witnessed the cloudburst of little white flowers so as all the grievance and mourning that spreads sorrow to the entire atmosphere.I literally donʼt understand the unforseen happenings but wished for all of them to quit whining. Seconds had passed, I saw myself somewhere deep in a cold stratum. I didnʼt realize that darkness offered tranquility in this overwhelming situation. It goes like this all the time, I miss everything that I had back then such as the chirping of the little birds that creates a soothing melody. Ocean waves rage and banged through the sea rocks. Itʼs been too long since Iʼve seen the dawn so as the sun that peeks through the mountain and greets a good morning. I havenʼt seen the stars and the moon and couldnʼt grasp a chance to acquaint them all my lamentations and
Third Person's pov.Her mind must be a grave of unsaid thoughts and those unspoken that are fettered with tribulation. She spent an hour of looking her own reflection through the whole body-sized mirror. A tall woman of more than average of a statue, a lustrous neck length hair with a white fitted wedding gown. Her eyes were sparkling with solitude and her mind was fighting with compatriot. She, who has the power of vengeance will step inside the sacred room to proceed with the rebellion. She wears a lustrous image but she wrote a bloody rhymes inside her mind. She once dreamed of wearing a beautiful wedding dress, she once dreamed a peaceful wedding with her husband on her side. It was a vintage pavement on her mind that only withered like a dry branches.Narrowed by how the time passed by whilst she was standing with power and confidence on a whole body-sized mirror that was bereft by serene melodies.A glitch of her
Talia's pov.Mind of mine was in its peaceful state, caught up with the silence of the whole room. Lately, I've been grasping the scent of old books I've always read in the past. I missed the old times, the scent of books and painted calligraphy so as discerning the dust particles in the air from the old bookshelves. While I am sipping the tea from my teacup, I was reminiscing the old good times when I was still at my teenage years. I was the lady who chose to stay silent and lived a life without getting involved into any tensions."Rumors that the nobles failed to pass their request about abolishing your crown. That's why the Sylvestrian people are creating a ruckus outside the Imperial Palace to surrender the imperial seal," Declan said.I hummed and put the teacup on the table. "I guess they aren't good enough," I mumbled.A servant suddenly arrived while holding a tray of glass of water and a medicine. "Greetings,
Third person's pov.The clock hits midnight and its sound was echoing throughout the tranquility of the night. The storm was on a rage outside while the nobles and governed officials were silently aligned inside the inner court of the Imperial Palace. They commence a meeting in order for them to propose their assumptions and as usual, they are taking advantage of the Crown Princess's rumored critical condition."Allow us to speak for our nation, your Majesty."Despite the ruckus inside the Imperial Palace, the Emperor was able to attend the meeting. It is their chance to abolish the Crown Princess from her position.Hades on the other hand was taking his nap on his palm while observing them."You may speak," the Emperor said.Duke Seleste was the first in line as the representative of the nobles's table. He stepped forward, hands on the filthy ground and bended his knees resembling that he is
The crumble sound from the teardrops weren't able to hide the bitterness of the footsteps from the lonely soul—thy dress in pure white.I fathomed that every footsteps were concealed with deep meaning. She was walking and walking...and walking that I could memorized her figure from her long sunrise hair, dancing along with the unsteady wind so as the wavering dry leaves were wandering in the void space.Melancholy and a fainted pictures appeared before my eyes, memories that I didn't want to go back yet I didn't want to forget.I memorized every single detail of those messy pictures ascending above on the dreary sky. Her footsteps were creating a pattern of emotions—it was empty and sorrowful. As thy cold wind touched my skin, I retrieved that the lonely soul was part of my memories. I felt disgust about those flickering scene that I didn't expect to see again. What is this? A nightmare? A dream? Or maybe i
Arcaine already left while Trevor remained. We stayed silent for a couple of minutes, or maybe, nobody wants to talk. I wanted to ask him about what happened to him when I was gone, but I couldn't open my mouth. I was reluctant to ask, nor give him a look without hesitation. He seems not to bother with the cold...winter is already coming. "It's unfair..." I glanced at him and our eyes suddenly met. Tears were on his eyes while wearing a smile on his lips. "Why do you always hurt me?" he asked. "What am I supposed to do in order for you to not hurt me?" "I wish for your happiness more than anyone else," he whispered. My mind went blank and I found myself giving him a cold look. Did something happened while I was gone? Or maybe...something changed. "Everyone have been trying to kill you ever since you became the Crown Princess. I told myself that you'll be fine and nothing will ha
"How is everything?" I asked. He stumbled upon answering my question. "I told you, everything is going according to your plan. The only problem is that boy...Trevor.""He's a man," I hissed and rest my chin on my palm. "What about him?" I asked."There's something wrong about him. Not only the color of his soul, but his actions are too repulsive. He's crazy over you," he said.I chuckled while looking straight to the pen I am fidgeting on my fingers. "Why? Did he kill some knights while trying to find me?"His eyebrows furrowed before he shook his head. He took the vacant chair and placed it in front of me. He sat on the chair and crossed his legs, manly."I've never seen a soul like yours and him. It's difficult to explain in words, but I can say that it's filled with darkness. However, there is a difference between yours and him."He place the empty glass on the table. "That glass is you, your soul is l
