"Your Highness?"

Sir Ocea put the box he was carrying on the ground before walking closely to us. His eyes moved on Pursues direction who was comfortably giving him a smile while carrying the basket.

His eyes shows a question of 'Why is he here?' and I shrug before avoiding my eyes from him. Sorry Sir Idea, but I can't answer your question.

"So this is Viadel, what sort of business do you have in here Talia?" Pursues asked while roaming his eyes around the place.

"That's... I have my brother living here," I answered.

"Brother?" He looked at me with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Yes, your Highness. I'm just going to visit him," I answered.

I walked pass before him and tapped Sir Ocea's left shoulder. I can't believe I'm having a hard time with Pursues accompanying me.

It's just that Trevor might get anxious or think of something bad when he sees Pursues with me.

I opened the door and the mercenary greeted me with a smile. "Good afternoon your Highness," they all greeted.

I nodded and smiled. They've become friendly and easy to talk when they already know about my goal.

"Where's Trevor?" I asked.

"Inside his room your Highness," Sir Robert said.

I glanced at him before I nod. I climbed up on the stair and went straight to Trevor's room.

I opened the door slowly and I saw him sitting on the floor while looking nowhere. He's with that again, sitting on the ground while not moving.

"Trevor," I called.

He raised his head before he blinked his eyes. It was like his mind started to function again when he stood up before pulling me closer and caged me on his arms.

"You're staring nowhere again, are you eating well?" I asked.

He became more taller as month passed, he's already taller than me. I can feel him kissing my hair while caressing my back.

"Master, use me already. I'm tired sitting here, I want to make you proud and happy."

I closed my eyes firmly before I pushed him slightly and touched his face. "Just wait until the engagement day Trevor. I promise you, I will use you whenever you want," I said softly.

He held my hand touching his face before kissing it.

"Master," he uttered while resting his head on my hand.

He's becoming more clingy day by day. He's more like an obsess dog craving for his owner's warmth.

"Trevor, let go of me." I tried pulling my hand from him and he followed it.

I tapped his head and caressed his cheeks. "Do you really want to do something for me?" I asked softly.

He nodded and I saw his mesmerizing stare as if wanting to capture me on his doom.

"Meet me in Cartes, Trevor. There's something I want you to do for me," I said before I kissed his forehead.

"Don't disappoint me Trevor," I whispered and left his face with his enigmatic aura as if craving for that one word called warmth.

I went down from the stairs and I was welcomed by a sudden tension between the mercenaries and Pursues looking proud carrying the basket.

I slapped my forehead before walking towards the direction of Pursues and encircled my arm on his arm.

"We're leaving now," I said and awkwardly smiled at them.

I didn't wait for their respond and just pulled him out from the building. I can't believe he stood up in front of them with his proud face, is he that charismatic?

"My Lady, I am really in heat right now when you're encircling your arm with your breast bouncing on my arm."

I stopped and immediately pulled off my arm from him. I can feel my face reddened because of embarrassment.

"I-It wasn't intentional," I said before I stepped inside the carriage without waiting for him.

Until we arrived at the Palace, I remained silent while he keeps on staring at me.

I exit the carriage and was about to leave him behind when he called me.

"Talia."

I closed my eyes firmly before I turn around and gave him a bright smile. "Yes, your Highness?"

"Your basket," he said and raised the basket he was holding.

I didn't know what to answer that's why I shook my head and said. "It's for you your Highness, then I'll be going."

I didn't wait for his response and turn around before I went back to the Emerald Palace.

Being in the middle of embarrassment is much more horrific than killing a person. This is really getting serious, my heart feels like it's going to explode.

"Your Highness."

I panicked and pressed my chest when I saw Fara appeared before me. I blinked my eyes repeatedly before I sighed at ease.

"I thought I was going to die," I whispered.

"Don't spout nonsense your Highness, I will burn the Empire before you die."

I gave her a bored look before I entered my room and jumped on the bed. This is really a stressful day, I can't control my feelings when I'm with Perseus.

I immediately get up from the thought that I may be in love with him. There's no way, I shook my head and slapped my forehead.

"Fara, do you think I'm in love with Pursues?" I asked.

"I don't know your Highness because I am not your heart," she answered.

I frowned with what she answered before I messed up my hair. I can't believe this, there's no way.

There's no way I would fall for him that fast!

"It's already time your Highness," Fara said.

I looked at her before glancing at the hourglass with only a tiny bit of sand left.

Right, it's already time.

I knocked three times on the wooden door before it opened. An old man welcomed us with his serious expression, he must be one of them.

I gave him the folded paper. He opened it before giving us a look and opened the door widely for us to enter.

"Who are they?" the lady asked while chewing something on her mouth.

I lifted my hood covering my head down to my nose. When their eyes met mine, they immediately pointed their sword to me.

This is to be expected since they are the people who are against the law, a criminals hiding in the shadows.

"What do you want from us?" the man asked.

"Put down your swords. She's with us," the old man says.

Fara was using her body to cover me from the swords pointing on my direction.

"With us? A royalty? Are you kidding me?" the lady spit what she's chewing before glaring at me.

I pulled the vacant chair and elegantly sat on the chair and crossed my legs seductively.

"I don't have time to have a child talks with all of you since I have business to take care outside of this house you're hiding," I said.

"What do you want?" the man asked.

"Want? We all know that you only have one talent, to kill right?" I chuckled when they glared at me.

"Next month will be the engagement of the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess which is me, I want you to attack the engagement party."

"That's a trap old man, why would the Crown Princess do that? Do you think—"

"Allessey, stop. Look at her," the man said cutting her words off.

"This is really an easy task for you, I only want you to kill one person." I gave them the sketch of the person I wanted them to kill.

"Are you sure that this is the right sketch?" he asked.

I nodded and stood up before throwing ten bags of golds. "It's a partial payment for doing the task," I said.

"I'll pay you one bag of golden bars if you successfully kill that person."

We left the house with our hoods on our head. "Fara," I called.

"Do it now Fara," I ordered.

She jumped on the tree before leaving me behind. I walked elegantly on the dark road while humming, the moon will have to witness such scene right now.

I immediately avoid the arrow flying on my direction before I jumped two metters away from the two men in black.

They pull out their swords while preparing to attack. I lifted my hood before I took off my cloak leaving only my white nightgown.

I stretched my neck and stretched my fingers before I chuckled. "Do you know that my legs are strong enough to stomp an elephant?" I asked before I jumped on their back without their notice before I whispered on their ears.

"Run."

They immediately turn around and tried to attack with their swords but I was lucky to avoid it. Their movements seems to be trained but not enough, I think they are only ordered to injure me.

What are you planning Hades? Why do you send me these kids with no enough stamina to fight a tiger like me?

When I saw an open space on his waist, I immediately stretched my legs and kicked his waist making him vomits with blood.

The last man tried to attack me on my back but I immediately get down before I kicked his knees.

My eyes widened when he didn't fall down, he's quite hard.

"Hey darling, don't you pity your partner? He's going to die with his ribs starting to crumble," I says while grinning.

I was right, they are related. He was reluctant of attacking me instead of helping the other man.

"Give me your sword and I'll let you live," I said.

I'm giving you a chance to live so don't disappoint me. I'm not that bad though, my words are really trustworthy.

I gave him a bored look when he ran and tried to attack me but I was able to pull his left arm before throwing his body on the ground roughly.

I can hear him crying because of pain when I stomped his face while looking straight on the moon.

"I'm a kind woman but I'm not very patient," I whispered and stomped his face harder.

I took his sword from his hand before I chuckled when I saw the sign of the Imperial crest.

"Sorry, but you need to die. Maybe you can wish for you to be reborn again just like me, I'll be waiting for you revenge." I struck the sword on his chest and I felt his blood on my face.

I walked closely on the second guy and whispered on his ears. "I will kill you next, Hades."

I was carrying the sword with blood dripping from it while walking alone on the dark road while humming, night is really beauty when it's full moon.

"Master."

I stopped and smiled brightly when I saw Trevor while carrying the head of someone unfamiliar to me.

I can still see the blood dripping from the head while its eyes are remained opened.

"Good job Trevor. Come here," I said.

He threw the head on the road before he walked closely to me.

"Pat me master," he whispered.

I pat his head before I pulled him on my chest while smirking. "You've done well Trevor," I said while caressing his head that was resting on my chest.

All of them will pay for what they've done to me, even if it cost killing for better result and bathed me with blood.

No flesh will remain on their grave.

"Your Highness please get up, you have to get ready for the banquet." I opened my eyes and frowned when I realized that I have to attend a banquet today, the worst is that I'm going to attend with Hades as my partner. I haven't had enough sleep because of last night. I giggled in irritation with the thought of attending a banquet with the guy who just sent those men to kill me. I don't know what he's planning inside his mind but I guess it is connected with the banquet today. "Last night, did you caught that man who shoot me with the arrow?" I asked. Betrayal is the most painful knife that could stab your heart for a million of times. It is the most painful weapon that I am afraid of. That feeling of breaking, in tears, and dying because of being betrayed. You will never have the chance to see the reason why you were betrayed because of how painful it is. Especially when it's the person you trusted the most and yet... That person betrayed you. I flipped the last page of the magazine before I raised my head on the person who just entered. "Greetings your Highness," he greeted before he slightly bowed. I offered him a seat before I closed the magazine and gave him a bright smile. "It's been a while Duke Richmond," I said.
