"Oh, my dear Denera! Look at this exquisite hand-stitched cradle!" Granny Yeneva exclaimed, her voice practically vibrating with excitement as she held aloft a tiny, intricately carved cradle. "It's made from the finest oak, imported from the heartwood of the Whispering Woods. Such craftsmanship! It's perfect for a little prince or princess."

I smiled politely, trying to suppress a yawn. The sheer volume of baby-related gifts was starting to feel overwhelming. It wasn't that I didn't appreciate the thoughtfulness, but the endless stream of tiny clothes, rattles, and bassinets was beginning to feel a bit repetitive.
