Kate’s POV

Just like before, my treacherous wolf collapsed before I could make it to the mouth of the woods. Not me being against myself. My body and wolf are so weak, it might take a month or two to heal properly. Marilyn caught up with me and held me down. The tears had me blinded for a second. I just want to disappear from the face of the earth and never have to experience this pain anymore.
