I jolted awake immediately, gripping for air, I slowly caught my breath back and breathed down heavily, I sat up on the bed looking around if Colin was around me, relieved as I realized I was safe in my own room.

"What the hell was that?" I muttered to myself, I tried to make sense of the vivid images that had haunted my sleep. I considered the possibility that the nightmare might be a reflection of my past or perhaps just a troubling dream.
