Unspoken Tensions

Damien's inner turmoil finds a voice in the quiet confines of his car, his ideas resonating in the silence. His tone is laced with annoyance as he murmurs to himself, "Why does this bother me so much?"

“Our relationship is really an agreement, a contract. Not a thing more." However, doubts begin to eat at the margins of his conviction even as he speaks the words. “Seeing her with him… who was that guy?..."
