Confrontation

A few hours after Dr. Thompson's visit, Seraphina was still fast asleep, the injection's effects lingering. Damien sat beside her, watching her peaceful face, his expression a mix of concern and something else - a hint of obsession.

He reached for his phone and dialed a number, his voice low and gentle as he spoke. "Hello, I need a bouquet of white lilies and pink roses delivered to my mansion ASAP. And make sure they're arranged beautifully, with some greenery and baby's breath. I also want a soft, plush robe in pale blue, her favorite book - 'The Great Gatsby' by F.
