Losing Something

Her watery eyes were peering at his burnt and bruised arm, completely aghast and appalled when suddenly she witnessed him snatching his arm from her hold aggressively which made her turn her head in his direction.

Ezrene found him glowered at her while he tugged down the sleeve of his hoodie, completely hiding his wounded arm. Did he wear this oversized hoodie to cover his arm or was his entire body covered with these wounds? That thought shuddered her heart and filled her eyes with more tears.

Extremely worried and concerned, she stepped closer towards him to check his body. She clutched the hem of his hoodie and tried to tug it upward but he immediately pushed her hands away from his body.

“You don't have to be concerned for my wounds, Ezrene Soler,” he seethed out at her while peering down at her nefariously. The tears in her eyes turned vigorous because of his distant behaviour. It didn't hurt her that much when he was filling her with pain like it was hurting her now when he was
