“I’ll go get him some towels,” I quickly informed Payton as I rushed out of the living room. However, I found Sawyer standing in the hallway, as if wondering where everyone had gone until his eyes landed on me.

“Carena! What are you doing here?” he asked, approaching me and noticing my shaky body language.

“Umm, something is happening to Ronan, and we’re trying to get him help,” I said, watching him stare at me blankly before squinting one eye.

“Huh?”

“Sawyer, he’s transitioning, but he’s fighting it,” I explained, hesitantly trying to walk past him, but he kept blocking my path.

“Good for him. He should suffer so he realizes how difficult it is for she-wolves, and then alphas like him come over and ruin their lives even more.” He stubbornly grabbed my arm, trying to pull me away from the living room.

“What Are you doing?” I asked anxiously, trying to run away from him to get Ronan help but Sawyer looked so stern.

“Come back to the room. I’ll fetch Payton as well,” he insisted
