257-Like A Giant Teddy Bear

I don't know why I had suggested he ask me questions but now I was regretting my decision. I shouldn't have pressed for such a thing. And this night would have gone by beautifully.

Sawyer’s smile had vanished, but he broke the stare between us and unchained me.

“Let’s fulfill your wish and transition together,” he said with a dryness in his voice. I wanted to ask him to talk to me first, but my transition was already underway. I couldn’t stop it.

Soon, we had both transitioned, and the mood shifted. We ran together, and even though he looked like a fearsome beast, he never harmed me. He was gentle, playing with me on the grass and in the river. His fur would get wet, making him look like a giant teddy bear. I was too happy to let any negative thoughts intrude, even though I knew I’d face burning questions and harsh glares when we got back home.
