Pablo had no idea that Lucia and Johnny had broken up. So he thought Jonny was doing this for his sister. He was really glad that at least there was one other person who could make Lucia happy aside from him.

" I would have to thank him later. He hasn't been here yet today."

Since Lucia didn't want to add up to the young boy's problems, she didn't tell him about she and Jonny.

" I'll tell him for you when I meet him."

As they talked about random stuff, Pablo fell asleep. Lucia looked at him sleeping soundly and sighed.

She had to look for the director personally. With that she told auntie Pam." aunt Pam, I'll leave first."

" okay. you take care of yourself out there. "

"okay" With that she walked out of the ward.

Lucia went back to doctor Gabby's office and knocked on the door. A nurse opened the door and asked her to enter.

Doctor Gabby look up from his folder and smiled when he saw Lucia again.

This young lady really was admirable. Though at his age, he's met a lot of different people who are attentive to their sick family members, Lucia's zeal and never ending gusto in never loosing hope in curing her brother. He hoped that the director would really help the siblings. They have suffered.

" Miss Acosta, please sit."

" thank you doctor." Lucia answered and sat on the chair offered.

" doctor Gabby, please how do I meet your hospital's director?

" I want to thank him. And also ask about the socialite blood donation club. "

"ehhr... Miss Acosta, with this I don't know what to do about it."

" I can only find out from the psychiatric department head who is also the foundations' head. I can't promise anything though, because our director hardly comes here. And it's even harder to find him at the head quarters as well without an appointment."

Lucia frowned. She knew it was going to be harder than climbing mount tai, if she wanted to meet the director.

After all she didn't believe that this director set up the cancer foundation just for them. So why would he meet an insignificant figure like her. But she was going to go look for him anyway. For Pablo's sake.

" you don't have to worry doctor. You just have to let me know where he'll be tomorrow. "

" okay. Let me call the psychiatric department head and find out for you."

With that he picked up the landline and made a call to the psychiatry department. After a few rings the phone was picked up.

" yeah, doctor Gabby. I was about to go look for you. "

" the guardian of the patient who needs the RH negative blood for the surgery has to go meet the director at the club house tomorrow. "

" He said he needs more details on why she can't donate. As well as some paper works."

Doctor Gabby was very surprised. He looked over at Lucia again. Who was this woman or what and where was she getting all this misterious help from.

" okay. I'll let her know as soon as possible. "

After he ended the call, he looked at Lucia again. He just couldn't understand.

" Miss Lucia. Do you really not know of anyone from the socialite club?"

Lucia looked at him and shook her head, puzzled as to why he keeps asking this same question. Is anything the matter?"

" well... The psychiatry department head was the one I just spoke to. .and he's saying that the director wants to meet you... tomorrow, at the socialite club. "

As soon as Lucia heard this she stood up, surprised and happy. " really?" Did I really hear you right doctor?"

She couldn't believe it. She was fretting on how to go to the club. She didn't think that help would come this soon.

But wait, how did the director know that she will go to look for him?

Who was this person? Was he a friend or foe?

She sat back down. " doctor, thank you for all your help."

" you're welcome." doctor Gabby replied.

Lucia walked out of the office in deep thought. A lot of things has happened in these few days which was already draining. She needed some sleep if she is to go to the club tomorrow.

As she came out of the hospital and hailed a taxi, she closed her eyes for a nap after telling the driver her destination.

The next day Lucia got up early as she didn't want to be late for her appointment with the hospital's director. As she got down from her bed, the door to the bathroom opened.

Jael, Lucia's friend and room mate in Professional Arts and Culture University. They've been friends from high school up until today. At times people mistake her to be Lucia's real sister. As she was always the first to stand up for her when people tried to bully her way back in high school. And she's been like that until now.

As Jael walked out of the bathroom, she saw that Lucia had woken up.

" You're up?" I thought you'll be sleeping in for a while since today is the weekend."

Lucia smiled. " mummy, I'm sorry but I can't sleep in today." I have an appointment."

Jael side eyed her. " who is your mummy?" who wants to give birth to a stubborn bull like you."

" where are you going to by the way? "

Though she didn't see much of Lucia on campus last night, she knew that Lucia would be with Pablo. Aside from school, Pablo and sometimes work, there's nothing else that can take that much of Lucia's time. Of course there was Jonny that scumbag, but

but he was history now. They didn't need a disappointment like him in their lives.

Though Lucia had not told her what really happened, she could tell from the little that she knew that Lucia would always make the right choice.

" I'm going to the socialite club to look for Reoyl University hospital's director. We got a foundation to cater for Pablo's operation."

" their going to get blood from the socialite club. "

Jael looked at Lucia, shocked. Where was the socialite club? It was a club made up of the prominent figures of the country. Most of it's members were politicians, business tycoons, legendary celebrities and the likes. Simply put, it was a club that housed the most important persons of the country.

And Lucia is saying that Pablo could get blood donation from their club?!

" this is huge Lucia. I'm really happy for you. Now Pablo can live a normal life. "

" That boyfriend thief thought she was going to make you suffer by pulling out her funds, I wonder how her face would look like when she finds this out. "

Jael really wanted to tire that fake face syringed with collagen apart. She's never seen a sister who could hate on her own sibling like that.

Lucia was touched, seeing how Jael was always there to support her as and when ever there's a need for it.

" Don't bother about them for the time being."

Let me go look for that person first. I don't know who is helping me out in the shadows. "

" then let me come with you." what if it's a fraud? " Lucia laughed at her remarks.

" silly. How can a big hospital like Reoyl be a victim of fraud."

“ okay, if you say so."

" but you have to be careful when you get there."

" I will, mummy." Lucia answered as she entered the. bathroom to shower.

" you.... " Jael sighed as she watched her back. She fervently prayed to God to make everything go smoothly. Lucia really deserved the be happy.
