Being introduced to the demons Lobo knew was nothing as I expected.

In fact, it was a bit anticlimactic.

They were all normal looking. And while they spoke with Lobo, I sat nearby, watching them.

I was half expecting them to turn into some scary, nightmare-inducing creatures.

I shook my head to rid myself of the ridiculous thoughts.

Lobo came over to sit on the sofa beside me, "You're looking around at them like they're going to combust at any given second."

"I'm half expecting them to do just that. What were you whispering about over there?"

"We were not whispering. They've tracked him to a nearby town. A small place where not a lot goes on. We're leaving tonight so we can get there by the morning."

"So this is it. We're finally putting things right."

"It's taken too long as it is."

I nodded, "It has. But at least we can put it behind us soon."

"You realize that just because we're putting Lowell down, it doesn't make anything else go away. We still have the humans who hate us
