REMORSEFULNESS

The tiny ray that penetrated through the lines of the drawn curtains hovered at Daniella’s sleeping face and it seemed to arouse her.

She stirred bit by bit while she slowly forced her eyes open. At first, she couldn’t see anything as everything appeared to be very blurred in her eyes.

As a result, she squeezed her eyes shut and cleared them at once.

Again, everything didn't look clear in her eyes but wasn’t as blurry as before. All of a sudden, a loud yelp flew out of her mouth while her two hands went up to her head and took hold of it as if it was about to fall off her neck.

“Fuck,” she swore between gritted teeth, palming her head strongly.

Daniella stayed in that position for several minutes and she was thankful the headache died down a bit. Then, she got out of the bed and walked up to the dressing mirror to check what had gotten into her eyes that was making her unable to see clearly.
