Tonight, I was finally losing my virginity—and to my husband, no less. The feeling of having my vagina popped at last.
I stared at Tyson as he carried me across the room, his arms strong and steady. "You know," I teased, "you're supposed to carry me over the threshold, not to the bedroom."
He laughed, his grin as wide as the sky. “Who says I can’t do both? Besides,” he leaned down to kiss me lightly, “I could carry you forever if I had to.”
I giggled, feeling a warmth I hadn’t known in years. “In that case, you better make me comfortable.”
His deep chuckle filled the room as he kicked open the door. My breath hitched at the sight inside. The room looked like a dream—candles softly flickering, rose petals scattered across the bed in a pattern that screamed romance.
Tyson laid me down gently, his dark eyes locking with mine. I felt a blush creep up my face as I whispered, “You know I’m a virgin, right?”
His expression softened, and he brushed a strand of hair from my face. “Don’t worry, Zina,” he murmured, “I’ll make it special. Who knows, we might even make a baby tonight.”
I couldn’t help but laugh, though the thought sent my heart racing. He leaned down, kissing me slowly, passionately, until I forgot where I was. All I could feel was him.
For the first time in my life, I was genuinely happy. Tyson was my escape, my safe haven. I didn’t have to think about my family—the Blackwoods—or the weight of their name. To him, I was just Zina, the girl he loved.
His hands were gentle as he undressed me, and I felt a sense of peace I hadn’t known existed. We were lost in the moment when—
Boom.
The door flew open, slamming against the wall with a deafening crack.
“What the hell?!” Tyson shouted, grabbing his pants and stepping in front of me. His protective stance both warmed my heart and sent a wave of fear crashing through me.
The intruders stepped in, their faces calm but deadly. My blood ran cold as I recognized them.
My uncle Luther. My cousin Ethan, wearing his usual sarcastic smirk. And two of the family enforcers, their presence like shadows of death.
“Who are you?!” Tyson demanded, his voice firm despite the tension in the room.
Luther’s sharp eyes landed on me. “Get dressed, Zina.”
Tyson turned to me, confused. “Zina... do you know them?”
I opened my mouth to respond, but before I could, Luther’s cold voice cut through. “Uncle, huh? That’s right, boy. I’m her uncle.”
Tyson’s eyes darted back to me, a mix of shock and betrayal crossing his face. “Uncle? What’s going on, Zina?”
Ethan stepped forward, his grin widening. “Oh, Tyson, you’re in way over your head. Didn’t she tell you? She’s the daughter of the Blackwoods. You know, the Blackwoods?”
Tyson’s face fell, and he turned to me for answers. “Zina... what is he talking about?”
I swallowed hard, feeling the weight of my secrets crashing down on me. “Tyson... I was going to tell you. I swear. I just... I didn’t know how.”
The betrayal in his eyes hurt more than I could admit. But before I could explain, Luther gestured to the enforcers. “Enough of this. Get her dressed. We’re leaving.”
“No!” Tyson snapped, stepping in front of me again. “She’s my wife. You’re not taking her anywhere.”
The enforcers didn’t hesitate. One of them moved swiftly, slamming Tyson against the wall. He grunted but didn’t back down.
Ethan chuckled. “You’ve got guts, I’ll give you that.”
“Get your hands off him!” I yelled, but my voice barely registered over the chaos.
Tyson pushed back, landing a solid punch on one of the enforcers. The man stumbled, but his partner retaliated, hitting Tyson hard enough to make him stumble.
“Stop it!” I screamed, but it was useless.
Tyson kept fighting, his determination unwavering, even as blood trickled down his lip. “You’re not taking her!” he shouted, his voice hoarse.
Luther, visibly annoyed, pulled out a gun. The click of the safety being removed silenced the room.
“Enough,” Luther said, aiming the gun at Tyson’s head.
“Stop!” I cried, rushing to put myself between them. “Uncle, please! Don’t hurt him!”
Luther’s cold eyes bored into mine. “Move, Zina.”
“No,” I said firmly. “You want me, right? Then leave him out of this. He’s not part of our world.”
Luther stared at me for a long moment before lowering the gun. “Fine,” he said. “But if he so much as breathes wrong, he’s dead. Now, get dressed.”
I stood frozen, my heart pounding. “Why are you doing this?” I demanded. “I’m married, Uncle. You can’t just—”
“I don’t care,” Luther interrupted, pulling a folder from inside his coat. He tossed it onto the bed. “Sign these.”
I picked it up, my hands trembling. Divorce papers.
“What? No!” I snapped. “I won’t sign these.”
Luther’s gaze turned icy. “You don’t have a choice, Zina. You either leave here as a divorcee... or as a widow.”
Zina's POV “No, that's not happening, Tyson, are you not going somewhere? You can go now, I will be sure to keep an eye on Anna.” I said, pushing Tyson away. I could tell that Bianca had her eyes otherwise on his, and that makes my skin crawl with jealousy. “Ok, stay out of trouble, and if anything comes up, call me.” Tyson said, and walked away giving me a peck on my forehead.“Goodbye, Mr. Reed.” Bianca muttered, and I was surprised to hear her address Tyson as such.“Mr. Reed? How do you know his name? Are you not just meeting each other?” Carolina asked.“Were you not here when Zina introduced us? You are still dumb as ever.” Bianca snapped, letting her gentle demeanor slip, and I was confused if all her actions earlier could be true.“Oh, nice that Tyson is gone, are you finally letting your mask off? I have been expecting that, but whatever you are thinking in that fish brain of yours, don't you ever think of hurting my friend!” Carolina warned, and just heart sweep seeing how
Zina's POV “So you mean Bianca was here, and you told Tyson everything?” Carolina asked with a raised brow, and I nodded my head. She was back to the hospital the next day since she wasn't able to have a talk with me last night.“Wow! That's so much information!” Carolina gasped, and I sighed. That reaction was expected. I also felt like I was about to lose my mind, with the recent events.I couldn't even worry properly about Anna, which was still recovering because I felt that those people could attack me anytime soon. I don't even know why Bianca came back to the country. I was sure she came back to get back at me, but what would she do?“So what are you planning to do? Don't you think you should leave the country first? I mean running away is the best option now because you don't know what that raving dog could be up to,” Carolina says, and I knew her worries weren't unfounded.“But where could I go?” I pondered.“I don't know, but somewhere safe from that lunatic, do you forget t
Bianca's POV I felt the chilly wind hit my face as I stared at the ocean. It has been years since I came here because it brought me peace, but strangely it was different tonight.“Ahh!” I screamed as I kicked my leg on the beach sand. I couldn't calm down, no matter how I think of it.I just came back to the country after so many years only to be ridiculed like this. How could my father treat me like this?“It wasn't enough that he sent me away years ago, he wants to force me to get married now, right?” I mumbled, and my eyes got misty with tears remembering what happened back then.I wasn't my father's favorite, but I assumed that he would side with me back then knowing I didn't do anything wrong, but he chose Zina over me.He chose Zina over her own daughter, Zina, who cost me everything and lived without regret while I was exiled out of the country.“I'm going to make all of them pay!” I hollered, and my scream mixed with the ocean waves. I only came back to the country thinking
Luther's POV I watched as Bianca gazed at me in shock, and I was expecting to throw tantrums because of her earlier outburst, but she was strangely calm. She just stared at me with an unreadable expression, and I had to look away because her gaze was eating me up.“Why are you not saying anything? Are you not shocked?” Ethan asked, breaking the silence, and Bianca chuckled lightly.I hate her calm demeanor. It made her unreadable, or could that be because we just met after a long time, I thought, gazing back at her.“Do you want me to be shocked, father? Or you want me to throw a tantrum? Yes, the news disturbed me, but it wasn't what you weren't capable of. I mean you sent off your only daughter for years, this is nothing.” She said, and my face hardened hearing her words.I couldn't deny her claims, but I wasn't expecting her to take it that calmly. “So did you mean you don't have a problem getting married?” I asked.“Yes, but do you think the groom won't have a problem with a dis
Luther's POV “Mr. Kingston, don't hang up, it's not what you think..I am going to..” I was saying, not that call went off. A heavy sigh escaped my mouth, and I felt myself losing it. Why is everything going wrong?“Why is nothing working out?” I screamed, and smashed my phone on the floor. My blood was boiling, if I didn't find a solution, the company that I built with my swear would end up in the wrong hands.I mustn't let that happen, but what could I do?“And it's all that asshole fault! I know he is the one pulling the string.” I flared, and threw the vase at the door, but the door creaked open at the moment, and Ethan stepped in.“Ahh!” He screamed when the vase landed on his bandaged head, but I was too occupied to care about his whine.“What are you doing here? Did you get discharged already?” I asked, taking a seat, as I watched Ethan walk towards me, swallowing his pain. He knew better to act sissy when our world is falling apart.“Actually, I decided to get discharged becau
Zina's POVFlashback8 Years AgoIt was a gloomy day in school, and as a senior in high school, I always have mischievous thoughts of skipping school, which always got me in trouble with my uncle, but today wasn't an exception either.“Bianca, did you want to skip school after this?” I asked Bianca, my cousin while in history class m, and she turned pale like she had seen a ghost.Bianca was a nerd, and always played by the book even at that age wasn't still my uncle's favorite because he didn't see the goodness in having a girl around.“Have you lost it? Don't tell me you want to skip school again? I mean you just got out of detention, you weren't planning to go back there, right?” She asked if I'm shocked, but a glare from the history teacher shut us up.“Why are you worried? It's not like
Tyson's POV I never believed that Zina would be so shy after our kiss, but I couldn't tell myself. Seeing her standing at the room's door brought up memories of when we were so in love, and my feelings for her resurfaced that I couldn't help but kiss her. “But why is she avoiding me? Am I some kind of monster to her?” I blurted, and ruffled my hair in anger as I strolled the hospital hallway, and unconsciously I was walking towards Anna's room.“What am I doing here?” I mumbled, as my steps faltered, and I knew Zina was the reason I came to the place in the first place, but I wasn't going to admit it.“I'm just going to see Anna.” I justified, but I felt a figure behind me, and my senses heightened, but before I could make a move the person spoke.“Don't attack me, boss!” Victor blurted, as he appeared from my back, and I hissed in frustration.“What are you doing sneaking up on me? Do you want to get attacked so badly?” I asked, and he just chuckled.“No, I didn't sneak up, you jus
Zina's POV I lost myself in the kiss as his lips touched mine, I felt a jolt of electricity run through my entire body. His mouth was warm and gentle, and I couldn't help but melt into the kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck, deepening the kiss, and felt his hands slide around my waist, pulling me closer. The world around us faded away, leaving only the two of us, lost at the moment. His touch, kiss was just the way I remembered..soft yet passionate.“Mhmm mhmm,” I moaned into the kiss as Tyson's tongue wagged in my mouth.“Ahh!” I heard a scream behind us, and that jerked me away from Tyson as I broke the kiss, and I turned around to see Carolina gaping at us with her mouth wide open.“Carolina..it's not like that,” I tried to explain, but it looked like I already traumatized the girl.“No, don't explain it's my fault. I should have knocked before I entered, maybe I would have saved myself from such a premium X-rated show.” She said, and fled out of the room.“Carolina, it's..s
Zina's POV The past few days have been eventful, but I could be bothered because Anna, and Tyson were currently in the surgery room for the bone marrow transplant surgery.“Everything will be fine, Zina.” Carolina consoled me as we both got our eyes fixed on the surgery room door, and the sign which indicated the surgery was still in progress.“Why don't you sit down? You have been standing for a long time?” Sister Mary asked, but I shook my head.“No, Anna is in there fighting for her life, what kind of mother will be if I can't even do this much.” I replied, and we all stood in silence.I wasn't a prayer person, but I prayed so hard, hoping that God wouldn't forsake me, and he didn't.“Zina!” Carolina called as the doctor walked out of the surgery, and my eyes glistened with tears seeing Anna wheeled out of the surgery room.“Oh my baby!” I mumbled, as I got closer, but the nurses prevented me from getting close.“You can't see her yet, Miss Blackwood, we still need to monitor her.
