Amanda was already prepared to resume work. She felt very happy all the way to work as she had missed work so much.

She imagined seeing other colleagues of hers again and exchanging pleasantries. She knew that the ones who hated her and had celebrated her suspension would be so shocked and angry to see her again but she didn't care.

She was one of the most hardworking waiters among all of them, her hard work and manner of handling customers always pissed them off because of the praises and little tips she regularly received from the customers who loved her so much.

She got down from the cab when she got to the club premises. She took in a deep breath, held tight to her bag, and started going inside.

Anyone she passed on the way would stare hard at her, maybe they all thought that she would not come back because it had been a month plus.
