An Alpha Luna

After washing up I wore my blue summer dress which made my eyes pop,and putted on some saddles when I was downstairs I bumped into Carly who was with her brother greyson "sorry" i muttered to her. She was wearing a beautiful yellow dress "it's my fault I'm just so anxious that I can't think nor pay attention" she murmured " okay okay now let's go should we" I said and we went outside the pack house staircase, we found our parents there " bunny you look lovely, I don't know why you never wear dresses really" she muttered 

"I just like jeans mom" I said and a black SUV followed with other expensive cars parked by our road side and Alpha Kyle and his mate luna Charlotte came out the car to meet with us followed by his beta and Gamma, "Alpha Turner its good to see you again" Alpha Kyle exclaimed shaking my dad's hand " ahh Alpha Kyle luna Charlotte and your beta and Gamma you are welcome this is my family, my luna wendy our son and soon to be alpha Xander and my daughter Winter" said dad "ow such extraordinary beauty..your mate will be lucky" exclaimed the luna "thank you" I said 

Jake ushered them to their prospective rooms, apparently alpha Kyle is 24 years old and luna Charlotte is 26 years old, so she is older than alpha Kyle and he is her second chance mate 

After that more cars started to flood in , and we were met with alpha Aaron who looked at me rather funny, he was mateless and he was 23 years old, he lost his mate while she was giving birth to their pup, she died with the pup, as they escorted him and his Gamma and beta , luna Ashley introduced her self to us, and she took over her mate's pack after her mate died on a rogue attack and she's waiting for their heir to reach 18 so that he can take over the pack, Crystal was rather impressed by the luna she wouldn't stop strolling back and forth with pride that a she-wolf is leading a pack

Xander took the honor to escort her , after that came alpha Richard  jr. and alpha colonel. Alpha colonel was with his luna isabel  they were at the same age 22, while alpha Richard was single without his mate, it was rumored that he never cared for his mate, he rejected her because he said she was weak and would make her heir a weak pup and so here we are in this dilemma him trying to flirt with me " luna wendy I've got to hand it on you your daughter is extremely beautiful" he smirked coming closer to me "alpha Richard save that energy for tomorrow's dance would you" said my father 

"What ever you say Alpha steel" he smiled " I will see your pretty face tomorrow" I wanted to gag and puke at the sametime 'he rejected his mate, he went against the moon goddess's plans for him' chimed in Crystal  'cryst I was thinking of rejecting our mate too' I said ' no-no wi you cant please don't'she whimpered,I shoved her back, and waited some more but no car came through and so we went inside , my mom was instructing the chefs on what to cook as we have visitors  when an arm snaked around my arm and I was pulled toward the games room, I was hit with the scent of Honey and so I relaxed 

"What's wrong jake" I asked, "have you thought about my request" he questioned, "I'm afraid I can't be your date at the ceremony jake" I said sincerely, "I-i" he stumbled "jack I was instructed to dance with the alphas to strengthen the chances of an alliance" I told him

"So you have to entertain them" he growled, "jack I-I got to go" I left him in the game room and went for a shower then relaxed in my room while  reading a novel

"Knock knock" I snapped my head to the door, "come on in" I said then Carly entered and sat on my bed "I-i" she stumbled "what's wrong" I said as I was closing my book "I heard you talking to Jack earlier, he's really into you I mean like really deep into you" 

"I know and I'm really trying hard to keep my distance from him for both our insanity, I mean I don't want him to find his mate and to find that her mate was into someone else before her" I huffed "oh wi, are you starting to value mates, I so proud" she squeaked  " nooooo" I yelled "I  don't know you know, all I know is that I want jack to find his mate and he happy and for him to stop lusting or having any ideas that we could be together but I on the other hand I dont want a mate I want adventure and to be free as a bird" 

'Oh godess why did you gift me with such a human' Crystal groaned 'I'll pretend like I didn't hear that' I hissed 'and I'll pretend like I didn't hear what you said about our mate' she huffed 

"I think that when you turn 18 and meet your mate all of that mindset will change" said Carly, i chuckled "the only thing that's going to change my mind is that he will have the same dreams and ambitions as me" 

"Okay then, how about we have dinner then a sleep over" she asked "I would love that" we went down stairs and helped Gail and mom preparing the tables since we had many visitors, dinner went on great except for the part where alpha Richard would spare glances my way and wink or try to flirt with me. And I could see Jack from the beta's table fuming and Xander seemed to have noticed.

"I don't know why but ember has been extremely anxious these past few hours" she said while we reached my room "I'm not 18 yet so i don't know much about matured wolves I'm just a minor" I said "ha-ha very funny" she said "winter,wi" my mom knocked then cracked the door open.

"What's wrong mom, you look worried" I asked " hun the red moon pack will be arriving tomorrow and I've heard that most of their man are unmated so I'm just afraid that they would-" 

"No, Luna they are the most dangerous and ruthless wolves in the world but why did the alpha invite them" Carly sobbed "I'm afraid that we had no choice sweetie if we didn't invite them then we wouldn't be able to make an alliance with them, your alpha really needs alliances at this time because there's a lot of rogue attacks on other packs"

"But mom their alpha is the most ruthless and short tempered alpha of all alphas" I said "and you and dad can't expect me to even look his way" 

"That's what I'm afraid of hunny, if he takes a liking in you then I'm afraid your father will give in and you will be his chosen mate"she sobbed "oh my" both Carly and I said at the same time, mom left us and Carly tried to  cheer me up that night and after some time  we fell asleep and I woke up early for my training which Carly joined me in, we were by the training ground training for almost 5 hours, then noon came and I went to the pack house and went straight to my bedroom and washed up when I was about to relax , Carly bashed in breathless and scared.
