Hailey woke up sick the next morning. Her head throbbed in pain and her body temperature was hot. She found it hard to open her eyes, as it made her head ache badly. She lay still on the bed, deciding to give Megan or Victor a call later to inform them that she would be absent today. She kept sniffing as she suddenly developed catarrh overnight. Her body doesn't feel like hers anymore, it was so weak that her eyelashes became heavy and she slept off again. The ringing of her phone woke her up from her sleep, she took the phone to check the caller and realized that it was Alkira. Her glossy eyes seemed to clear instantly and she answered the call.

"Why are you not at the company yet?" Alkira asked.

Without giving Hailey a chance to reply, she continued.

"I told you to act normal and now you are skipping work just a day after I resumed. You know what…Come to the company before ten minutes elapses or you will have yourself to blame," Alkira warned and hung up.
