Earlier today, I had gotten a call about a certain person who was after Lucas, I had to meet up with my boys to figure out who that person was. But then, Leah called complaining that something was wrong with Tina. Never did I expect to see her panicking this way. Her tears moved me to tears, her fears infuriated me. I wanted nothing more than to hurt that one person who planted the seed of fear in her.

Pulling her into my arms, I honestly bared myself to her, confessing my feelings, she went stiff in my arms, just sobbing. I lifted her off her feet and onto the bed. Leah and Riley had taken the babies earlier. I made her rest her head on my chest and coaxed her to sleep. Soon, she dozed off.

I crept out of bed and met up with Leah and Riley in the hallway.

“Keep a close eye on her,” I told them.
