"What were you looking for in a club?" Victor asked Hailey to break the sickening silence in the car.

After dropping off Megan, Victor decided to drive Hailey home, since she didn't take any car to the club.

"I went there to find the same thing you came there to find," Hailey replied, sounding really pissed off.

Victor noticed the anger in her tone and shut his mouth, not wanting to make any comment that would further annoy her.

Hailey felt her heart ache at the thought of what Victor went to do at a club.

"Maybe he went there to get laid," her mind suggested, annoying her more.

"Or to watch some strip shows."
