Life doesn’t often go the way we plan it. My goal at the beginning of the year was to settle down and build a family with Lucas, I never imagined that he could do something this terrible to me. Leaving the country had never crossed my mind, but now, it seemed like the inevitable. Here I am, dragging my luggage down the stairs, after refusing to get help from anyone.
