I was enraged!

I felt darkness devour my remaining sanity. Thorin was growling nonstop at the back of my head. 'That Alpha mutt dared to touch what is mine!' He had been reciting the same words over and over, and I couldn't blame him. I, too, would like to rip Adam Hayes into pieces until even his parents couldn't recognize him.

I was the king. I knew that even without using most of my powers, I could tear that mutt in a snap. 'He touched Jaque!' I repeated what was Thorin saying since Jackson found that out.
