Chapter 23 Moving Out

Morning!

The weather was getting chilly, and the sky was getting dark. It was the first month of winter. I woke up as early as six, thinking that I was going to move out today. I glanced at the man sleeping soundly beside me. His face was serene like he was not a ruthless and demanding king. My eyes traveled down the tip of his note, and then his slightly parted lips. Those lips were so warm when they gave me a good night kiss last night.

I moved to the side and kept on checking my mate. He had a hard jawline. Goddess, he was handsome. I pretended to be asleep when I saw his hand that was wrapped around my body move. He groaned, then mumbled something. I thought my mate was dreaming.
