Once done with settling everything, Seraphine bid good-byes to her sister before heading for the barracks. The entire way, the corner of her lips were lifted, displaying her enthusiastic mood well.

As she arrived, she didn't know how to judge her luck as she came upon Arnold Crisberd. Regardless of her emotions, she could only politely greet him.

"Not bad, Young Lad," he commented, "It seems that the vacation invigorated your spirits."

"Indeed, it has. I am grateful to Sir Arnold for it," Seraphine flattered the man.

"Seeing this, I have decided your next task would be in your hometown, and as working alone could be tough on you, I have decided to assign you with a partner."

This caused Seraphine to be intrigued. Although she had completely a difficult task previously, no matter of teaming up was mentioned. She wondered how hard it was for Arnold Crisberd to suggest this.
