Poisonous

A groan escaped from her mouth while she fended off the beast that attacked her. Just a few minutes into walking further in the Frost forest with the little squirrel-like creature when she was invaded by these wolf-like creatures.

They had the face of a wolf. However, their body structure closely resembled that of a human’s. They appeared to be severely dehydrated and had their blood vessels popping out. Their skin was in a shade of gray-blue, and saliva popped up from their mouth.

The advantage they had over her was their great speed. Due to this, she wasn’t able to run away and face the countless number of them that came in her direction.

Although they weren’t particularly strong or smart— primarily working on their instincts— they had a leverage over her with the numbers, and even if she cut off tens of them, more just comes popping up, making her realize this wasn’t the end of them.

Being ripped into pieces by these
