One's treasure

Seraphine vaguely recalled the conversation she heard previously on some general or such a figure holding a parade after winning a war. The parade would be passing through the town.

During this time, wars were quite common, especially at the border, so Seraphine didn't pay special attention to this. Because of how busy she had been, this matter simply slipped out of her mind.

But now that she had decided to take a break from her job along with Hamilton, she decided to check out this procession as she was curious about it.

There were many enthusiastic people that gathered around. Not often did such high figure passed through the town, so it was understandable that a considerable amount of attention was attracted.

Seraphine booked a private room at the restaurant with a balcony in order to get a proper view. While she nibbled on the seeds, she stared at the excited people downstairs.
