5. Out of place

"Zeres! Meet Quincy. She's my girlfriend" Ezekiel said crossing his elegant hands over the girl's shoulder and their both bodies touched in a rather gentle rub. Although Quincy had an eye on Zeres, but she couldn't deny the fact that Ezekiel was as good looking as Zeres. Same height, same component but different personalities. Ezekiel acted loosely in front of others and this act of shamelessness which he exhibits was considered more like his thing. But Zeres, he was so serious. He doesn't joke around most especially when it comes to his time. He hated been deprived of what is called his right, but now seeing this shameless guy before him wasting his time and all the same for an unreasonable something which was considered to be out of place. Why?!

Zeres eyes widened slightly after hearing him introduce Quincy as his girlfriend. What is wrong with this fool? Any moment from now, Zeres might explode of anger but how he managed to suppress it was what amazed him. Blinking severally as the unexpected introduction kept ringing in his head. He could only nod his head in absolute wonder.

Wait what? Did I just hear him correctly? Was he being serious right now?!

Zeres still couldn't believe it. Luis Ezekiel who tends to be the most significant person he couldn't obliterate his actions even for once, he couldn't even dare to judge his decisions because this man before him was someone who takes a decision without it being a wrong one. He was like the wisest of all men. But seeing this so called wise man coming all the way from Viscarria to Ki Dollarama then from Ki Dollarama to London in California, just to tell him about his dump girlfriend. Just, was he insane or what? Was this one of his tricks or is it something new?

Fuck Ezekiel! Zeres blurted out earning him a grumpy grunt from the said Ezekiel.

Although Zeres was awestruck with all of Zeke's tactics but he didn't let his shocked expression known to them. His face still retained it's indifference and calm look which later turned into being displeased. Immediately he sat down on his adamantine black leather chair which looked like a throne. It's texture was smooth with Faux Aniline leather. Zeres pressed his back against the chair and casted a side along glance at Ezekiel who raised a brow questioningly at him.

"Did you come all the way from Ki Dollarama, just to tell me about Quincy?" Zeres asked his voice filled with utter displeasure and all humor seemed to be long gone from that red crimson eyes of his and Ezekiel chuckled.

"Actually, it's Viscarria! And no! Am doing some form of introduction because am 100 percent sure you did want to know who Quincy was the minute you stepped into your luxurious office." Ezekiel said.

Zeres raised his head lazily and shakes his right hand towards him like he didn't care.

"Hi, am Quincy Mi. It's nice meet you" Quincy said as she went for a handshake, but Zeres stared at her stretched hand like it was insignificant. Quincy felt like the world should eat her up or something because the way Zeres rejected her hands like it was a deadly plaque was embarrassing and humiliating and quickly retracting her hands, she sat by Ezekiel as she sank in the soft capophany Ruby sofa wishing for the earth to part and sink her in.

"I apologise about his behavior. He doesn't like people" Zeke said and Zeres who wasn't looking at them suddenly returned his attention to them.

"Listen Ezekiel, spare me some time. If you do have something to say then please say it and stop consuming my precious time. With this time spent, I would have done something useful but you are sitting here like a total dork wasting my time on useless things" Zeres voice was sarcastic as he spat those words but Ezekiel did not mind because he knew that it was Zeres. That was how he is, so careful about his time and how it is being spent. Ezekiel knew that if it was someone else he wouldn't have been nice enough to sit and listen to them, probably a punishment might follow. But since it was Ezekiel, that wasn't going to happen because both Ezekiel and Zeres practically consider themselves as brothers. This was something that Zeres could never have with anyone else and that was mutual love. Zeres took Ezekiel as his brother since the very day that late Mrs Gwen gave him access to a vast amount of powers and that was done by sacrificing her damned life and that was how Ellie came into his life. After that scene of brotherly act of Zeke having the back of Zeres when a cyclone of powerful gods reigned back then and was on the verge of destroying Zeres because of the amount of powers he consumed. Definitely they must have known what would happen if the powers begin to reflect in him, he would definitely be untouchable, invincible almost an immortal and that was when Zeke acted as shield and was able to hide Zeres from the Cyclone gods until they became extinct from the world if he was correct. So that was why Zeres could tolerate and condole all of Zeke's nonchalant and stupendous behaviors. Even presently, the powers he so consumed wasn't showing off it's radiant glow and heat. So no one else knows about his powers except for Ezekiel, Gwen who was dead and the Cyclone gods who are already extinct. But waiting for some more months or so probably a year or even some more decades, his powers would definitely come up in full swing.

"Zeres, king Gale demands your presence in Ki Dollarama." Ezekiel said his face diminishing of all it's shamelessness and Zeres smirked. He had been long waiting for this news so that he would be able to execute his next move to deal with king Cyrus and hearing this new information his smirk gradually turned to a wide grin, at least Ezekiel wasn't that useless again because he was able to bring this information to him.
