A whole month had passed since Sebastian took over as History teacher. We had that date and many more others.

I stopped having the weird dream and life at school became better.

Luke and his friends were reported missing a few days after they had mysteriously disappeared.

Whenever I tried to think of what could have happened to them, I never came up with something logical so I dropped the issue.

At least, they wouldn't be a bother to me any longer.

My parents strongly believed that something had killed them.

Whatever this "something" was, they didn't care to explain more to me.

All they did was give me a curfew and force me to wear the bracelet which I took off before leaving the house everyday.

"Sebastian?" I took a bite from the bread, moaning as the creamy flavor and chocolates melted on my tongue.

One thing I've realized was Sebastian was perfect.

Not just perfectly looking but perfectly everything.

He was perfect at cooking, teaching and even kissing.

We weren't dating but we could not deny the pull we felt toward each other.

I didn't care so much about defining what our relationship was as long as I knew he liked me.

At least he expressed that through his kisses.

"Mhmm?" He also ate from the bread, his expression unreadable.

Did he not realize how delicious the bread was?

"You never said why you believed vampires existed." I had never asked anyway.

I was scared when Sebastian suggested that we went on a picnic. I wouldn't resist if the man tried to kiss me but I couldn't risk being caught kissing in public.

While a few people wouldn't come at men for dating men, there were more homophobic people around here.

Plus, anyone at school might see us.

Fortunately, Sebastian had picked a secluded place.

"Who knows? Maybe I am one." He looked up from his bread and winked at me.

I laughed, "No, seriously. Why would you believe they are real when they've never been proven to be real?"

"What sort of proof are you referring to?" He moved the basket away and grabbed my legs to place them on his.

At this rate, I might as well consider us a couple.

"They've never been caught on camera. Not one vampire has openly come to declare himself a vampire." I shrugged, scooting closer to him.

"Vampires are rumored to be fast, they won't be caught on camera if they truly possess such ability. Every supernatural creature would want to keep his existence a myth, vampires included. Everyone believes they will burn in the sun so you won't expect to bump into a vampire in the day, would you? Plus, where's the fun if they go live and admit that they're vampires."

He had a point but still, all these reasons were too ordinary.

Someone like Sebastian had to have a strong reason for genuinely believing in anything .

"Is that really all the reasons you need to believe vampires exist?" I cocked a brow attack him.

"Those weren't reasons, Tiger. They were facts I drew from what you believe." I managed to ignore the sweet feeling of hearing him call me Tiger and focused on the conversation.

Him calling me Tiger felt like he thought I was feisty which I wasn't but it felt good knowing someone thought I wasn't a pushover.

"What do you believe then?"

"I believe there's reality in myths."

I laughed at his answer and didn't push the conversation further.

We talked about other things and ate before the date came to an end.

Since we came out in the evening, I couldn't spend as much time with Sebastian as I wanted to.

He did all the packing while I took a walk.

As I walked deeper into the woods, I felt someone watching me but I didn't bother. I was out with Sebastian who was always watching me but then, as time went by, I got uncomfortable with the feeling.

I got uncomfortable when Sebastian watched me too but not in the bad way.

Now, I felt like eyes were drilling holes through my back and the fear of what I might see when I turned around, sent  chills through my bones enough that I couldn't move.

Was it Luke?

Was he back?

I sniffed and slowly turned around but instead of Luke, I saw Sebastian.

"Is everything alright?" I asked him, startled by his presence.

"I should be asking you. Why are you here?" He frowned at me.

The eerie feeling had disappeared so suddenly, I didn't even know when it happened.

"What?" I blinked at my environment.

Where was I?

"While I was packing up, you came in here. It's too late for you to be this deep into the woods, you know?" He was still frowning as he came to inspect my body.

I didn't say anything as he grabbed my hand and led me out of the woods.

Walking back, I realized just how deep I was in the woods. I hadn't even realized I had gone that deep.

"I'm sorry." I hated seeing him mad, especially at me.

Sebastian sighed and turned around, "Something could have happened to you in there." He sounded just like my parent right now.

"What could possibly happen to a Tiger?" I tried to lighten his mood with a joke but even my mood would get darker with such a pitiful joke.

"Sometimes, even Tigers can't take down certain prey's on their own." A smile cracked his frown before it melted away.

He closed the distance between us and dragged me into a hug.

My body sagged against his immediately, his head buzzing against the crook of my neck.

When he broke the hug, he didn't give me a chance to speak before he captured my lips.

A small bite on my lower lip opened my mouth enough for his tongue to thrust in. I reciprocated the kiss, wrapping my hands around his back.

He released my lips with another bite but this time, on my upper lip.

"Are you okay?" I asked him when he rested his head against mine, unwilling to leave our current position.

Sebastian never pushed me away but he was never….. touchy like this so this was weird.

"I'm sorry." He whispered barely audibly with his eyes closed.

"Sebastian?" I gently places my hand on his face to comfort him.

Was he like this because I might have gotten lost or hurt in the woods?

"Tiger." He called me as he straightened.

When he opened his eyes, they were their normal burnt ember but as he blinked, the green in his eyes deepened, richened before bursting into a vibrant, fiery red.

His pupils shrank until they were nothing but vertical slits.

The concern in his eyes from earlier had burned away, leaving only hunger.

I left his hold immediately, walking backward until my back hit a tree. The feeling from earlier returned and my bones iced up again so my feet remained glued to the ground.

"S…..S…. Sebastian?" My knees bucked and I fell to the grass.

"Your eyes." I pointed my shaking finger at his eyes.

They were exactly like the man's from my dream.

His lips curled into a smile. Not the smile that made my cheeks go pink, no, not that one.

This smile was cold, devour of warmth or humanity.

This smile was like a living thing, speaking of many horrors.

It continued to stretch across his face until his razor sharp fangs were exposed.

No, it can't be.

  "Y…y…. You're a…." I chocked on the last word.

He crouched to my level and grabbed my chin in a gentle hold.

I didn't push him away when he moved closer to me and swiped his tongue over the cuts he had inflicted on my lips earlier.

"I've wanted to do that for so long; too long."

"Taste a Thompson's blood." The poison that was always in his voice, for the first time was the only thing I could hear.

"Go to sleep, Tiger." Was the last thing I heard before darkness consumed me whole.
