Chapter 698 Don’t Be Sad

Tamara returned with a glass of water, but Margot was nowhere near the rock she had left her by. The bodyguard from before hurried over to Tamara.

“Young Mrs. Lynch, I’m sorry for being negligent. Miss Zimmerman told me she wanted to use the restroom, so I accompanied her. After going into the restroom, she didn’t come back out…” the bodyguard explained with a guilty look.

Tamara tightened her grip around the glass. Her face tensed up. The cold sea breeze made her face prickle uncomfortably.

A moment later, she said, “It’s alright.”

The bodyguard turned and left.

Tamara walked back to the rock, watching the crashing waves and the snow accumulating on the beach. This truly was a magical place.

Her gaze gradually turned blurry.

“Oh, Margot. Why do you have to be so foolish?”

When Margot suddenly changed the topic and asked her for water, Tamara already had an inkling that her friend was trying to divert her attention.
