Chapter 261 Proper Explanation

Sebastian was lying.

Why was he hiding the content of his conversation with Old Mr. Lynch?

Could they be discussing what the old man had previously discussed with her? Was it about the future nanny?

If that were the case, and Sebastian had decided to hide their discussion from her, didn’t that mean that he had agreed to Old Mr. Lynch’s suggestion?

Tamara began to doubt.

She backed out of Sebastian’s embrace right away.

The man’s trimmed eyebrows furrowed at the movement. “Tamara, what’s wrong?”

Tamara signed, “I’m feeling a bit tired now. I’m going to sleep.”

She looked out the window at the pitch-black sky after putting her hands down, her back to Sebastian. She was unable to suppress the numerous suspicions that were growing.

Sebastian could tell that Tamara was acting oddly and that it had only started after she asked him about his whereabouts.

His eyes darkened all of a sudden. He then leaned over her. “You heard me on the phone, didn’t you?”

Tamara merely blinked at him
