Chapter 1927 Not a Criminal

Felice looked at Margot with a complicated expression. "Ms. Zimmerman, didn't you find the grapes sour?"

Margot chuckled. "As you said, the grapes were imported and are considered luxurious items. I'll eat them even if they're sour. They are nutritious, after all."

She had been on Nammu Bay for over a month, surrounded by the salty sea breeze every day. Though she found the sour grapes distasteful, she wouldn't throw them away. In fact, she was happy eating them.

Felice fell silent. She didn't quite understand. After some hesitation, she asked, "Ms. Zimmerman, are you not worried about the heart-eating bug?"

Margot shook her head. "There's nothing to worry about."

Felice looked at her with a puzzled expression. She knew how terrifying the heart-eating bug was. Every full moon, she would be in excruciating pain, wishing she could tear off her skin to ease the suffering.

But Margot seemed completely indifferent. Why?

Felice didn't understand, but she dared not ask.
