Margot met Andrew's gaze fearlessly.

She had the upper hand now and could act as she pleased! She hadn't come here with the intention of getting pushed around. She wanted to turn the island on its head!

After a while, Andrew finally spoke, "Go prepare a room for the lady."

"Yes." The maid immediately went to carry out the order.

Margot smirked, feeling satisfied. She continued, "I don't want to marry him. I'll stay here as long as you agree. And I'll show you my sincerity."

Andrew narrowed his eyes. "Don't push your luck, Margot Zimmerman. My patience with you has its limits!"

Margot blinked. "But the condition I proposed isn't unreasonable. I just don't want to marry him. I don't understand why you insist on making us marry."

Eric suddenly asked, "Do you not want to marry me because of Mr. Inkling?"

Margot's face immediately darkened at his words. She took a few steps toward him and grabbed his collar. Her usually gentle eyes now carried a rare fierceness. "I'm warning you, yo
