Tamara fell silent for a moment. "I went abroad and learned many things. I met my master, George, and learned medicine from him."

Sebastian cocked an eyebrow. "George is my uncle."

Tamara looked at him in surprise, then nodded. "No wonder he felt so familiar when I saw him."

Sebastian continued, "Currently, I've only dreamt of us being separated for a year. There's nothing more beyond that."

"Me too." Tamara picked up her teacup and took a sip. The mild tea fragrance lingered, soothing her senses and calming her mood.

The wind blew, rustling the leaves outside. Tamara's hair swayed gently with the wind. She remained remarkably calm, thinking about what Sebastian had told her. It helped relieve some of her frustration.

She knew he had his reasons.

Sebastian watched her, his gaze becoming even gentler. "Tammy, don't be angry, okay?"

His deep and soothing voice sounded sad, which tugged at Tamara's heart.

Tamara's breath trembled as she nodded.
