The next morning, Benjamin and Margot left Windsong Mansion for the City Council. However, Benjamin's phone rang before they could enter.

He answered the call reluctantly, his face showing impatience. "Hello?"

"Benjamin, come to the hospital quickly. Your grandfather had a heart attack and has been rushed to the emergency room," came Trevor's voice.

Benjamin froze. He didn't know what to say.

Trevor continued, "I don't care what you're doing right now, but come to the hospital immediately. Your grandfather has been good to you. Do you want to watch him die?"

Benjamin sneered. "So you want me to accompany him to his grave?"

"You!" Trevor was furious and abruptly ended the call.

Margot asked, "What happened?"

Benjamin said, "My grandpa had a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital."

Margot was shocked. "Let's go to the hospital."

Benjamin looked at her, then at the City Council. "Let's get our marriage certificate first. We can go to the hospital afterward."
