Jayden's fingers danced across Camilla's back, tracing her bones to determine if there were any fractures.

As he touched and observed Camilla's expression, he found that she didn't show any significant discomfort, which meant that her back wasn't fractured.

If there were fractures, even at a glance, it would be evident by redness and swelling. However, Camilla's back was covered in overlapping bruises without any signs of redness or swelling. They were simply bruises.

After finishing the examination, Jayden opened the first aid box and took out some ointment to apply to her back. His movements were incredibly gentle, as he was afraid of causing her any pain.

Camilla remained silent and didn't answer his question.

Jayden carefully thought it through and quickly came to a conclusion.

Apart from her mother, she would fight back against anyone who bullied her.

"Jayden," Camilla murmured, "there's something I want to ask."

"Go ahead," Jayden calmly replied as he applied the ointme
