Jenna POV The pain coursing through my body was destroying me. I could feel wave upon wave of rage coming through the much thinner mind-link I had with the Rogue King. I could hear Adam yelling for Doctor Rivers to do something, while I rocked back and forth in a ball holding my head. Adam’s hand on my head helped ease some of my pain. Adam POV I could feel Jenna’s bond starting to weaken. I struggled, as did Sam, trying to break the connection between the Rogue King and Jenna. Adam POV The next couple days with Jenna were a blur. We spent most of our time together. She continued to get stronger and was taking to her Luna duties quite quickly. Jenna POV I try to get away from Adam scrambling on my hands and knees to get to my father. I hated him in this moment, but I did not want him to die. I immediately see that my father has a gun shot through the chest. I quickly role him and see that the bullet went through him. I am uncertain what might have been hit with the shot, but it is a good sign that the bullet went through him.
