Outside the bar had become dark as the moon hid away leaving the sky empty with darkness.

“Sir, the bar is about to close.” The bartender said while he pitifully stared at Dax.

“Huh? What's the time?” Dax mumbled.

“It's almost midnight.”

“What,”

Dax passionately gazed at Carmen’s sleeping face before gently tapping her on the back.

“Hmmm…” Carmen moaned.

“That was some strong stuff your girlfriend consumed. You have to carry her.” The bartender stated.

Dax awkwardly smiled at him as he took out his credit card to pay for Carmen's drinks.

 Afterward, Dax reached for Carmen's phone and purse. He then placed the phone into her bag and held onto it before lifting Carmen off the bar stone.

Once he secured her tightly in his grip, Dax carried her out of the pub and into the car. Then he dropped her purse beside her.
