They discharged Lindy from the hospital in the morning. She slept in the ward with her kids as they did not want to leave her side. Liam slept on the chair in the waiting room. After they discharged her, they went out of the hospital together.

“Take the kids home Liam, I have to go somewhere.” Liam looked at her trying to see her mood, but she gave nothing away. He nodded. “Come on guys, let’s go home.” He told the kids, and they got into the car. “Why is mommy not coming with us?” asked their oldest.

“She has to go somewhere and will meet us at home.” Liam explained, Lindy went to the window and smiled at her kids. “I will see you guys soon; I promise not to be long.” She assured them then moved back, and the car drove out the hospital parking lot.

The woman was just discharged from the hospital, what could not wait until she was hundred percent alright before taking care of it?When the nanny arrived, the kids were already showed and going to bed since they did not sleep much last night. I told her I will be back in a couple of hours and then went out to my car. I thought of calling Lindy before driving and asking her where she is but thought against it.She doesn’t want to talk to me right now and I doubt she will tell me where she is. I took out my phone and went to find my iPhone. I was not ready for the location it gave me, “No, no, no this can’t be.” I drove out fast out of my yard racing to get to Mia’s house. What is Lindy doing there, I

Liam I rushed into the hospital and went straight to the front desk. “Mia, Mia Black, she was brought in here about two hours ago,” I tell the lady and she clicks away on her computer then pauses before looking at me. “I will get a doctor for you, sir. Please wait here.” She tells me and I nod. She looks nervous but I brush that thought off my mind, there is no time to be caring about others at the moment, Mia is more important. After a few minutes of waiting the lady comes back with a doctor and I meet him halfway. “Doctor, I am Liam Brown and Mia is the mother of my child. I want to know how she is doing?” I don’t give the doctor time to speak as I introduce myself and ask about Mia’s condition. “Mr. Brown, I am sorry to tell you this, but we tried everything we could, but the patient lost a lot of blood, and the glass was lodged into a very delicate place. We lost the patient, I am sorr

LindyI sat on the cold bench in my cell thinking about everything that happened today and regretted it. I should have gone home and been with my kids then file for divorce and leave Liam. My husband is blaming me for her death, with good reason of course but I thought he will at least get me a lawyer and give me a fighting chance.I am still his wife and the mother of his children. How can he just leave me here to rot? I know I made a mistake, but does he hate me so much that he would leave me in here like this? I know he loved that woman, but I did not think he loved her more than he loved me. But today and what he said showed me he loved her more. My husband looked crushed by her death and did not seem bothered by my arrest.Liam and

LindyTwo years have passed since I got arrested and I wish I could say things changed after that day, but they didn’t instead they got worse. I have suffered more beatings, especially after it was common knowledge what I was in for. They would curse and ask me one question when they beat me up, why did the mistress have to pay for my husband’s mistake? Why did she have to die and not my husband who approached her? They were right, I should have dealt with Liam and left Mia alone. But at the time I was not thinking so could haves and should haves will not help me with anything. In a way, I felt like I deserved the beatings; I took a life, a mother from her children and I can never take that back. I felt like the beatings were a way of me repenting for what

Even when she was in the taxi, she kept looking out the window and would hold her breath each time there was a car behind them and wonder if it was following them. The taxi finally came to a stop at the hotel, and she hurried inside. After doing all the paperwork she went up to her room. There was a dress on the bed and an invitation card to some fundraiser.
