Ramsey, paced around his apartment, the silence amplifying his thoughts. His mind was a whirlwind of confusion and lingering emotions. He had to figure out how his stolen phone ended up on his couch, lifeless and powerless. The absence of any power source left him in the dark, both literally and metaphorically.

“What do you think happened?” Ramsey asked, gesturing at the phone as if it might answer.

Davis shrugged, still trying to process it. “Maybe someone just wanted to mess with you. Or maybe… maybe it’s all connected somehow?”

“Connected? How?” Ramsey frowned, not buying into any conspiracy theories. “All I know is that it vanished, and now it’s back here with no explanation.”

As they moved deeper into the apartment, Ramsey's eyes fell on his bedroom door. He hesitated, feeling a bit insecure—incase the house was haunted. When he opened the door, the sight before him struck a chord. Bella’s clothes were strewn across the floor, tossed in haste as if she had been searching

Ramsey handed the diary over to Davis, to see for himself. Davis eyes glued to the pages of the small, leather-bound diary in his hands. Bella’s words spilled across the pages, a haunting confession that sent chills down his spine. He read aloud, his voice shaky as he reached the most devastating part: "How can I tell Ramsey that the child Mandy is carrying belongs to him, not Dwight. My sister, never cheated on him during their marriage, she never did. My greatest fear is If Ramsey finds out that Mandy’s baby is his, will he leave me for her, or will he still love me like he does?… I can’t lose him." Davis blinked in disbelief, his hands trembling as he held the diary. He wasn’t sure if it was the cold truth in Bella’s words or the sheer weight of the secret that made his breath hitch. Glancing up at Ramsey, he saw the color had drained from his friend’s face. Tears streamed freely down Ramsey's cheeks, his eyes distant and unfocused as he struggled to comprehend the revelation.

The courtroom was an echo chamber of silent tension, every breath held, every eye focused on the figures entering through the large double doors. It was the day everyone had been waiting for—the day the trial against Mandy Mendez and Cain Bryant began. The atmosphere was thick with suspense as the room filled with an audience of family, enemies, and onlookers. Gerald and Uncle Mark stood solemnly near Grandpa Benson, their presence a reminder of the heavy weight this trial carried for the Norton family. Rachel, Elsa and Alex, stoic and unreadable, sat beside them. Meanwhile, Ramsey and Davis sat together on the opposite side, Ramsey’s sharp eyes never leaving the courtroom entrance as though waiting for something, or someone, to break. His jaw clenched tightly, anger simmering beneath the surface. Davis sat quietly beside him, ever the observer, his fingers tapping rhythmically on his knee. The heavy doors creaked open once again, and the police entered, escorting Mandy and Cain to

District Attorney Cooper Wayne, approached the witness stand. His face, typically composed and brimming with confidence, now showed a flicker of doubt. Something had gone wrong—terribly wrong—with his star witness, Pamela. He turned toward her, his expression sharpening as he addressed the court. “Ms. Pamela, you’ve stated that Mrs. Mandy Mendez hired your boyfriend, Cain Bryant, to murder Bella Norton as an act of revenge. Can you explain, in detail, what happened?” The question hung in the air like a thick cloud of smoke, suffocating the tension in the room. Pamela stood at the witness stand, her hands trembling slightly, but her voice came out clear and firm. “No. That never happened,” she said, her words cutting through the silence like a blade. The entire courtroom froze. “I’ve known Mrs. Mandy for a long time, and she would never plot to kill anyone. And my boyfriend Cain... he’s not a murderer or an assassin.” A collective gasp swept through the room. All eyes shot to Coop

The courtroom air was thick with tension as Ramsey Wendel took his sit on the witness stand. His face was expressionless, but behind his dark sunglasses, his mind was a battlefield of conflicting emotions. His thoughts were dark, swirling with hatred for Mandy but an odd attachment to the child she carried. He stared at her swollen belly from time to time, and every time he did, his anger flared. That was his child—and that was his Bella, he would have to save it. Anyways, anything he does henceforth is for the growing Bella in her womb. No matter what lies he had to tell today, it was for her. And after that, after she gives birth to his Bella, she would die by his hands. Davis caught his attention from the audience, giving him a thumbs up. Ramsey returned a subtle nod, feeling the weight of his next actions. He wasn’t here to play the victim. He was here to turn tables. Cooper Wayne cleared his throat, signaling that the interrogation was about to begin. Ramsey could feel the ey

Rachel Norton sat stiffly in the witness stand, her face pale, her hands trembling as she nervously clutched the wooden edges of the chair. The courtroom was eerily silent, every eye fixed on her. Stefano McReynolds, with his sharp suit and equally sharp eyes, stood ready to begin his interrogation. His every step radiated confidence, and Rachel knew that he was about to tear through her and she wouldn't give it so easy. "Miss Norton," Stefano began, his voice smooth but with an underlying bite, "what exactly were you doing at the venue where Bella Norton died?" Rachel took a deep breath, trying to steady her voice. "I... we went there to save Ramsey," she replied, her eyes shifting briefly toward him. Ramsey sat motionless, his dark sunglasses shielding his eyes, making it impossible to read his expression. "Save him?" Stefano tilted his head, raising an eyebrow. "Save him from what? Or should I say, from whom? Yourself?" Rachel's heart skipped a beat. "No, no! Not me! I went

As soon as the handcuffs were unlocked, Mandy fell into Dwight’s arms. His grip was tight, almost suffocating, but it was the only thing holding her together. The tears she had fought so hard to suppress finally broke free, pouring out like a river of sorrow. It was as if Bella's death had happened all over again. The reality that Rachel's interference actually killed Bella ached her more, and the fact that Cain couldn't keep his damn mouth shut from confiding in Pamela, struck her heart with fresh pain. Rachel is where she's supposed to be, and Cain—for his blabbing mouth and expensive mistake, she'll handle him later. Stefano McReynolds, the lawyer who had just sealed Rachel’s fate, approached Dwight with a confident smirk. He leaned in close, whispering, "I’ll be expecting my balance," before walking away with his briefcase in hand. Just as he was about to exit the courtroom, Elsa blocked his path, her eyes red and swollen from tears. “You treacherous liar!” Elsa spat, her voice

The metal door clanged shut behind Rachel as the female officers led her into the cold jail cell. After changing into the dull, orange prison uniform, she collapsed onto the floor, her back resting against the cold wall. Tears streamed down her face, mixing with the snot dripping from her nose. Rachel’s body shook with sobs as the reality of her situation hit her with full force. How had it come to this? The betrayal stung deeper than anything she could have imagined. Dwight, the man she loved and defended, had orchestrated everything. He had been the one to put her behind bars. She clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms, but it didn’t numb the pain in her heart. The sound of footsteps echoed in the dim hallway, and Rachel wiped her eyes quickly as Inspector Ramirez appeared in front of her cell. His expression was unreadable, but there was a hint of sympathy in his eyes. “I need to ask you one question,” Ramirez said, his voice low but firm. “Are you certain that

Behind them, Cain and Pamela sat silently, the weight of their fractured relationship heavy in the air. When they finally arrived at the mansion, Dwight led Mandy upstairs without saying much. His hand was firm but gentle on her waist, guiding her toward the master bedroom. “You should freshen up quickly,” he whispered, his voice low and calm. Mandy nodded, grateful for a moment of quiet. The dining room was filled with an unspoken heaviness as Rachel, Elsa, and Uncle Mark gathered for lunch at the Norton's Mansion. Uncle Mark, leaning back thoughtfully, looked at each of his daughters with pride and empathy. Breaking the silence, he gently asked, “What’s the way forward, girls? Where do you see yourselves, now, after everything?” Elsa spoke up first, her tone determined yet reflective. “I’ve always dreamed of becoming a lawyer,” she began. “But I’ve seen what it takes to make a real name as one… the compromises, the shortcuts. I can’t become someone like Stefano McReynolds. Modeling, on the other hand,” she continued, a flicker of newfound confidence brightening her face, “it feels natural. I’ve realized it’s something I’m genuinely good at, and I want to give it everything I’ve got.” Uncle Mark smiled, his eyes warm with approval. “Elsa, whatever path you choose, know I’m standing behind you. Dwight was just about to leave Mandy’s rehab ward when he found the doctor waiting at the entrance. He quickly stepped aside to speak with him, concern clouding his face. “Mandy’s recovery is going well, doctor,” he began quietly. “But she’s having episodes of memory loss. She can’t remember certain events… especially losing our child. What do we do now?” The doctor raised an eyebrow, a thoughtful look crossing his face. “Does she remember having a baby at all?” “Yes,” Dwight admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. “But she believes the baby is still in the incubator. I… I told her that, hoping it would ease her mind.” The doctor nodded, a plan forming in his mind. “In that case, there might be a way to help her continue healing,” he said carefully. “If she can’t recall losing the baby, then… adopt a newborn. Present it to her as her own child.” Dwight stared at the doctor in shock, the idea hitting him like a wave. “You mean… find a child and pretend it’s hers?” “Yes,” the doc

The atmosphere in the courtroom was thick with tension as Serena stood before the jury, her once-proud demeanor shattered. Today was her hearing, and she faced charges for the murder of little Bella, a robbery, and the ruthless crime she had framed Peter Allison for. Serena shifted uncomfortably, her hands vibrating as the judge prepared to read the verdict. The foreperson of the jury rose, casting a sharp glance in Serena’s direction before delivering the final judgment. “The jury has found you guilty of first degree murder. I hereby sentence you to twenty five hundred consecutive life sentences plus a thousand years.”She turned to face Serena, her face beet red with contempt like there was more of a personal grudge between them than a federal case. "Once you pass away, you will receive an attempted escape charge with an additional two hundred years added to your sentence which you will begin serving in the afterlife once you get hell." Her eyes were fierce and full of resentment

He swallowed hard, watching Dwight rummage through the backpack filled with a disturbing array of tools, each promising a unique kind of agony. “What do you want?” Ramsey asked, forcing a calmness into his tone that belied the terror swirling inside him. Dwight chuckled darkly, shaking his head. “What do I want? really? Ramsey, you seem to have cheated the face death so often that you now think you're unkillable. Am I right?” He tilted his head, a sinister glint in his eyes. Ramsey attempted to use psychology to save himself. “I know you, Dwight Mendez,” he said, his voice feigning familiarity. “You’re not like me. You’re a good man, a better man. You’re not capable of killing anyone.” Dwight laughed, but it wasn’t the laugh of a man who found amusement. It was cold, devoid of warmth, and filled with pain. Dwight pulled into the driveway of his mansion, his mind set, heart hardened. This night, there was only one objective: justice for Mandy, for Bella, for everything Serena, Hannah, and Ramsey had taken from him. He strode inside, up the grand staircase, and into his private study. With quick precision, he unlocked his safe, pulling out a small, polished handgun. As he tucked it into his coat, his thoughts were interrupted by a quiet voice. “Sir,” one of the maids approached, her face filled with worry. “We’ve been searching for Clara for days. She’s disappeared without a word. We think…we think maybe she ran away with Hannah.” Dwight’s expression didn’t change; he simply gave a curt nod. “Don’t worry about it. I’ll find her.” The maid looked on, unsure, but Dwight had already turned, a cold resolve in his eyes. Tonight, he would tie up all loose ends. As he drove, Dwight made a stop at a small, dimly lit store, where he gathered an arsenal of tools designed to inflict slow, prec

The hospital room was dimly lit, quiet except for the steady hum of machines. Bella had been taken to the morgue, her tiny body lying cold and alone, while Mandy lay unconscious, her face pale and sunken, a single bandage wrapped around her head where doctors had inserted the tubes needed for her life-saving surgery. Dwight paced the hallway outside, his hands clenched, jaw tight. The doctor’s words echoed in his mind, each one like a hammer blow. Traumatic brain swelling. Ventriculostomy. Critical condition. He’d paid for the surgery without hesitation, willing to give anything, everything he had, to keep Mandy alive. But his heart ached with the weight of sorrow, an emptiness that seemed to stretch into every corner of his being. Finally, after endless hours, a nurse stepped out, her eyes soft with sympathy. “Mr. Mendez, Mandy’s surgery went well. She’s resting, but…” She paused, hesitant, before continuing gently, “Her condition is very fragile. You need to be prepared for when
