Injured.

Leila's POV.

I heard a loud noise outside the door, so I stood up from the bed.

My eyes scanned the room for any possibility that Alpha Darren was back.

I couldn't see him and this made me more apprehensive and worried.

My heart raced as a sense of danger overwhelmed my body, I really hoped he was alright.

I walked over the door, my heart thumping nervously, I hoped it wasn't anything serious.

I opened the door slowly and a loud gasp left my mouth, Alpha Darren was lying on the floor, looking battered and bloody.

His chest was rising and falling heavily and there were fresh cuts and bruises covering his exposed skin, all around his body.

I immediately rushed over to him and checked for injuries.

"Alpha!" I exclaimed loudly, trying to shake him awake, my hands shaking violently.

"Oh hey." He managed to say when his eyes opened a little.

"I was so angry, I..." He tried standing up, but he fell down again.
