Leila's POV.

I woke up with a start immediately I felt chill water on me.

"Wake up sleepy head." The creepy voice called out.

I stood up, my whole body shivering as I remembered that I was kidnapped and I've been suffering here.

The alpha didn't come to get me the way I thought he would, he actually did what I thought.

He didn't come, and it wasn't surprising, but it hurt so much to see that he wasn't here.

The realization that I was alone and he won't come for me hit me.

"I'm happy you're up." The man who called himself Alpha James said.

I rolled my eyes wondering why he was bordering me.

"Your mate is on the move looking for you." He said and my heart gladdened immediately.

I wasn't ready for the sudden happiness that hit me, but I couldn't help myself and just let it flow through me.

I've never felt such intense happiness in my life. It gave me hope that he would accept

But the happiness soon disappeared when another man barged into the room and grabbed me roughly by the shoulder.
